You're missing the point. I'm no programmer - hell, some days I have trouble with HTML and/or BBCode. But I'm pretty certain that to introduce anything like what you're discussing would require the devs to create something completely from scratch - especially something like the piloting seen in that video.

Between EVE (both the internet spaceships and the space Barbie aspects), DUST, and World of Darkness, I think CCP has their hands pretty much full. The absolute last thing they - and we! - need is for them to have yet another attack of ADD and run off after the new shiny and backtrack on what progress they started to make with Crucible.

Arcades aren't possible in EvE.

Destiny (the physics engine) updates every second only, with time dilation on it's even less.

This means that if you click at the start of a second,
it takes the server until the next second to send the response.

That's also one of the reasons why we don't have WASD-type controls.

The alternative is 1000 times more lag...
