Some people have been asking to get a sample of how the types data is going to look now. So here it is. This will take effect in the next release.

Updated to include the whole thing, not just a sample.

Do we really get things like "radius: 100.0" with the types data?

So invTypes table will leave datadump.bak?

There are entries like "radius: 15351.0" in the yaml file. Caldari Logistics Station as example. Or "soundID: 20162". While they are easily ingnored, I currently don't see why they have to be there. Or it's to late this day for me.

They were witin invTypes before (NULL for most of the entries. So they appear to be there intentionally.

Interestingly, several columns are missing. Quickly comparing typeID 588 (Reaper) with the current Carnyx SDE:

groupID
mass
volume
capacity
portionSize
basePrice
published
marketGroupID
chanceOfDuplicating (well ...)

Other than that, typeName and description are available in all supported languages, so this may be the reason why tcID 33 was missing from last SDE's trnTranslations (different issue).

This is just replacing the existing typeIDs.yaml and isn't meant to replace invTypes yet, right?

On Sisi and Duality the rest of the data (the columns mentioned above) was moved out of bulkdata and into evetypes.db.
Will those new SQLite files be included in the SDE as well or will it stay in invTypes for now?

I too would really like to know that.

It's not, currently, a viable replacement for invTypes, as it lacks data.

(I'll still see about loading it in. Still thinking about how.)

Not 100% sure but I assume so. Will try and find out. :)
