New EVE wiki fonts too small on 14.1 inch 1280x800 screen

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Advanced_mining me favourite guide all ****** up caus too small now. Now need extra effort zooming, like 10 years old kid website. 10 years old kid website forum gank too but here not subject.

So how about you, do you find the new content fonts of the wiki comfortable reading, or also need zooming. Because a bit lame CCP's website need be zoomed like 10 years old kids websites. If you not happy too QQ too so me fill petition ask 11 years old kid fix forum for CCP.

There's some vital element of this thread missing...

Oh yeah. Comprehensibility.

I don't know if you're mildly ******** ElQuirko, but the intent of the OP's message was clear enough (even if his grammar was a little bit over the place).

Basically check the wiki link in the OP and report if you find the new font size used for the content is comfortable to read or not.

Even if my screeen is small (14.1 inch) it's the first time I'm required to zoom a website to be able to read it's content. Don't understand why CCP went against the standards.

Anyway having to zoom is lame and it should be fixed.

It's the way of the future. If cell phones are built so fat people can't press the buttons then websites should be built so old people can't read them.

Well, the OP does have a point. After reading a few paragraphs I can say that doing so was a pretty big strain on the eyes. CCP, are you trying to keep this stuff a secret?

Reads fine on 11" @ 1366×768…

…the broken state of the search function (and how the background blends in with the bread crumbs) is a far larger problem with the new wiki. I mean, how the hell do you break the search function on a wiki?! Ugh

Yes, yes but no. In 20 years browsing the net including 5 on this computer this is the only website I can't read without having to zoom in.

Last time I tried a research it felt like it was case sensitive, didn't really bother.

11 inch @ 1366x768?without zooming? what browser/os are you on? I'm on a conventional firefox/xp and it's too small...

Marketing huh? Well, if that's your line of work, it would certainly explain the… “enhancements” you've made to some of your statements.

I have vision troubles. I can read it fine but their is some eyestrain.

The Content is what worries me.

Mining is one of the most profitable careers a pilot can choose.

Perhaps this is some in joke of sorts but many people, new players a lot of them might use this Wiki to learn about this complicated game.

Misleading them is just cruel.

Well then that explains it, Apple users got a much bolder/bigger font than windows users on identical settings, if we were to post a screen to compare you'd be shocked by the difference.

Riiight…

Please do. Roll

It's not a difference in size, by the way — it's a difference in font hinting and anti-aliasing, both of which are done better by OSX since time immemorial (and helped further by having better displays).
