Extend expiration date of contract that is already overdue?

I issued a courier contract to one of my other characters on same account. The contract is overdue and actually un-fulfillable don't ask).

Anway out of this without failing it?

As far as I know you can`t change expiration date once a contract has been created...so sorry but no, the only option is failing.
