How to be COOL in EvE?

Sometimes i feel like im in the front of the bus while keeping turning my head around looking at all the badass cool kids in the back do awesome cool things.

And like i know the saying that they will be losers after graduation and the losers will be able to buy the fast cars and hot chicks and stuff, but seems like we are forever stuck in the bus high school senerio in EvE.


I wanna be cool yo.

How? Please? I can pay?

Step 1: Stop trying to be "cool."

Step 2: Do something you enjoy.

Step 3: Become good at what you enjoy.

Step 4: Take risks.

Step 5: Join a group you can talk and/or do stuff with.

Step 6: Make self-depreciating, yet funny, stories about your exploits (with or without the group)... both successes and failures alike (especially the failures).

Step 7: "Cover up" your failures with obviously false, yet funny, bravado.

Step 8: Let others make fun of you.

Step 9: "Steer into the skid."

Step 10: You are in.

Stop playing the game and just talk about it on various forums and websites. Well, at least they think they're cool.
