I don't know what model it is, but I have this Logitech one on my desktop:

Has all those buttons on the side I don't use.

On my laptop I have a Logitech G700S which I mostly use wired rather than wireless. It has buttons I don't use either.

Think about this mouse

Examples:
Button for "Shift" so you can over heat modules by "Shift" + F1 to F4 where you can rest your fingers.
Context menu instantly opens.
"Unlock" and click the target you want to drop.

So many possibilities that make you a little more efficient. (I know about this mouse because I found it for someone who is disabled with their left arm)

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I used to use a MS thumb roller ball mouse.

Now I use a Razor Naga Molten. I don't use all the buttons but half I do use and are invaluable for drone control.

I had to replace my 10 or so years old MX518 last fall due to the scroll wheel not registering well. Replaced it with Razer Deathadder 2013 since it was the only mouse with good reviews available at my local store but would have preferred to get a Logithech mouse since the last one was so great.

Interestingly enough the MX518 had a thumb-sized worn patch on the side from years of constant use.

This post was rated "C" for capsuleer.

A Logitech mouse that was very cheap when I bought it 10+ year ago.
The originally matte-black look is worn down to some very shiny dark grey and the the sticker on the bottom stating the model number has disappeared years ago.
It fits my hand, it works fast flawlessly and never failed me once.

When in a hopefully distant future it finally breaks down, I will give it a proper funeral and mourn for several days.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......
