Why do you want to run an extra process to run EVE anyway? (If you are happy with wasting memory and processor time then why aren't you happy to waste hard disk space? Hmmm? Hmmm?!)

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

i have bought a brand new EVE Online copy on steam recently, and now i am having difficulties to install it, because of there is no eve launcher for steam to install it without downloading everything... (i assume u know recent launcher and Download on Demand changes)

reason is, monster sale on steam :( and i always want to buy Premium(actually Collector's but no offer was on steam) before quit.. another thing on my "to do before quit" list is checked..

You have to download the game one way or the other. What difference does it make if the launcher downloads it or Steam??

As far as I'm aware, if you log into secure.eveonline.com with your steam account, you can get a proper username out of it, which means you can then just use the regular client.

can you put "contract Hal Morsh some stuff" at the end of your to do list?

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

Just be glad we don't need Origin...or, even worse...

U-Play (makes that face you make when you take a sip from a soda that's been left out for a few days thinking it was the one you just opened...surprise, it's not).

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Every alternative to downloading the client from CCP/EVE should fail....

**** Steam, get it from the man.

Don`t be rude Drago steam is not bad. At least if the fix the memory leak in there program. I use steam for screen shots video`s all kinds of other things as well like trading cards. Yes its all useless but i like it to keep it on steam so i dont need to be afread to lose screen shots or vids or my back up broadcast when crashing or forgot the backup time. enc enc.

And the tons of games. So speaking about nonsense steam is good it was bad back in 2001 or so.
