Are there any pure Caldari ships that genuinely benefit from drone rigs?

(re: not the "pirate" ships eg. Gurista / Mordu).

Caldari will benefit more from a rigor then a drone rig.

Depends on rigs but Chimera and Weyvern Basilisk and Etana for sure.

Logi would be better rigged for EHP or Reps. Chimera would rigged for EHP or cap stability for ratting and Wyverns would be better rigged for EHP.

Drone rigs are useless on Cap ships imo, and completely useless for any Cal subcap.

The question was about benefits in case of drone's rigs. Not the best rigs on ships. If you install drone rigs on carrier and super carrier you would benefit from drone perspectives. Same goes to Logi.

My question is one of are there any Caldari ships that would benefit. ... Meaningfully. For example: Armor rigs for use with Armored Caldari ewar ships or even the dual web armor Kestrel make sense. Naturally drone rigs on any ship, WILL provide a benefit, but is it meaningful and useful to use drone rigs as part of a Caldari ship fit & with some hopefully functional purpose.?

So far, that Heron fit above is a refreshing surprise.

Any ship that can use drones would benefit from the drones rigs.
The real question should be are they the best use of the rig slots on any given ship?

I would tend to agree that on Caldari ships the best use of the rig slots would be to boost missile damage or damage application with a nod towards those that help your shields or shield boosters.

Pretty much. That being said, as a slightly tongue in cheek OCD Caldari pilot, i'm attempting to decide just how much i want to train drone rigging.

There is the above heron, and training drone rigging is probably better than starting in on anything related to capitals.

Drone rigs have a CPU drawback that will create fitting challenges for a missile ship. Drone rigging 5 is practically a requirement to fit a Rattlesnake. Pure Caldari will benefit more from a different choice of rig.

If you need the CPU help then yes the Drones riggins skill would be helpful.
If your fit does not need the CPU help then do not bother training it.

As my grandmother used to say hogwash. Many Rattle fits have no trouble with CPU as long as your CPU skill is trained as it should be. But like the advice above if CPU is an issue then train the Drones Rigging skill.
