As my hauler alt would tell Holey...

"Dude. Killrights AND I'm in a Bustard. 1. Way to go paying to activate that KR 2. Bring more than 1 scram 3. Docking ring games are hard."

Anyway...

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

How bout you tell us why you won't fight Leto?

He still hasn't realized that ships are ammo. I imagine that if he lost to me (no idea if he can fly or not, so anything can happen) he would flip out and rage.

Black Legion doesn't care about you enough to drop carriers.

How can you say I'm afraid, when you denied my challenge in your own thread?

It's all in good fun, man. I promise you, they will make more ships.

Good luck with hurting my feelings there bro. Pointing out that you can't stop insulting people like a child has nothing to do with hurt feelings. I note that you are still unable to respond on topic however and claim victory on all points. Go back to crying about all those people easily avoiding your wardecs while it remains a valid method of evasion. Big smile

Holey, I really don't know you.
I've read some of your posts and I've driven past you a few times.
I've never flown with you.
I have flown with Leto once, and while a single incident isn't nearly enough to draw any kind of statistical analysis from, I can at least convey what my observations were during that singular experience.
He was willing to risk a fairly shiny cruiser (a gila) for the sole purpose of 'screw it, let's go have fun and roam around until we die'. Scratch that, risk isn't the right word. The undocking was done under the assumption that all ships involved would be destroyed.
Period.
Death was assured.
Strangely enough, due to RL and other weird circumstances we totally failed to die. I had the weirdest sad moment when I successfully docked up my gila in high sec the next morning.

My point? If you fight him in a Thunderdome setting, you are going to get a real fight. No tricks from him, no traps. (I think he sends all the traps over to Serendipity Lost anyways).
At least this is the impression I've gained due to my one experience. I may just be naive though and he's luring me into a false sense of security for the long con.
Given I have no trannytos carriers to be scammed out of though I kinda doubt this.
Take it as you will.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Quoting Sun Tzu does not make you competent in actual combat doctrine. In fact, over time Sun Tzu's points have shifted more to a philosophical base encompassing daily life, and less about actual military strategy. If you were to quote Sun Tzu to an actual military officer, you'd be laughed right out of the room, because we have come to understand this.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

*shrug* Just fight him. If you win, you score some bragging rights. If you lose you still have gained some respect from having fought in the dome. I really don't see how you can really lose aside from choosing not to fight.

Once again, this from the view of one in the peanut gallery.

Though I'm not a Holy sympathiser I will vouch that Leto has at least 1 Thanatos carrier on standby. Following the argument to it's logical conclusion: IF Leto would pay up the thanatos carrier he owes me, THEN Holy would enter into honorable thunderdome combat.

The logic is clear.

I sold some **** I wanted to keep for 500 mill just to pay off so the newbies and such could play because most of them were all for logging off the entire week.

Finally I go to pay it and find out the ceo doesn't even log on anymore. i've been in an NPC corp since then, the only PVP i have had is getting blown up. I have two angel refuges in highsec, one has a gila in it, and I go to the other as another Gila warps out of it.

I've tried ganking them but it results in 1 tenth of their shields going down to an 850 DPS polarized catalyst and then the Russian just loots the polarized guns. It's even more baffling he doesn't loot the T2 modules considering what site he is farming, you know.. A highsec site worth nothing he doesn't bother to even loot?

At this point I'm wondering where the hell CODE is.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

I'm under the impression that instead of trying to live in lowsec or deal with any type of PVP they could get blown up and people would probably just leave the game. Hell I would gank the gilas, cynabals and tengus farming these things into oblivion if it weren't 0.8 systems with a buffer tank into stupidity.
