The turret icons are simple representations of turrets, plain and simple, they modify turret weapons stats... so why can't the launcher mods plainly and simply represent launchers? If they really want to go for realistic'ish modern day missile modification equipment, I'm pretty sure all the fancy modern day turrets use just as much radar etc as the missles do, so those weapon mods should be radar/satellite dishes as well right? Heck even the drone mods look like drones... they really need to get their ducks in a row on keeping with some themes/stylings and completely breaking others.


Who's to say they aren't going to change the turret and drone modification equipment icons down the line? The radar does make a lot more sense for missiles although I do agree the icons they designed feel a little off, mainly due to how big they are compared to the circle behind them. If they played with the size a bit then it'd look better imo.

Module icons are not game changing - not an issue.

Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.

They are too big. All three modules you mentioned, are usually fitted one/hull (painters may be more). There is a possibilty to fit all three missiles modules, passive/active and scripted. As long as those modules won't be shown on hull all we need are simpified icons I think.

Not about being new, or replacements, they are just ugly.
And since you are creating new icons, shouldn't you adopt some sort of a "standard design" (DC is more 2d than 3d per example)

Overhanging is not the problem. First thing you see when looking on them is brown plate filling icon round model. If they are 20% smaller it would be easier to tell the difference between the adequate modules. Small mark at the left bottom side of module icon is merging with it. Icons should be as clear as possible.

Dont see how its hard to tell the difference here, they are just the same as the TE TC and turret damage mods.This just looks like grr change.

I believe CCP has gone full rereretard, glad I unsubbed my accounts before I started to punch my monitor.

Whomever is making the last few years decisions on what changes are to be implemented in this game, must hate Eve with all their being.
