As a former corporate lawyer, one thing I've always appreciated about DED extraterritoriality clauses as a, "Stateless" capsuleer is how difficult to the point of impossibility it is to prosecute a vicarious liability lawsuit compared to if I was in fact, a registered employee of Kaalakiota Corporation. Intara Direct Action, for example, tried once in the CBT to establish that I was an agent for Kaalakiota Corporation. Which is a nonsense since as an SCC/DED registered independent entity I automatically indemnify Kaalakiota Corporation from my own words and actions -- public or otherwise. I would speculate such was the reason the CPD at the time filed an injunction on the case so as to spare the CBT having to deal with such nonsense and move on to far more important legal matters that required the attention of their judges.

Even now I have no tacit legal association with Kaalakiota Corporation and remain as ever an independent extraterritorial entity under interstellar treaty. I am not even the beneficiary of my own CFU pension. As a, "Stateless," non-entity it would appear the executor of my pension account is a legal firm based in Nonni that makes charitable donations to Caldari NGO's of interest via banks in the Khanid Kingdom. Understandable given my legal status within the borders of the Caldari State, if unfortunate personally. I can at least take solace in the fact that Caldari lawyers and Kingdom private bankers no doubt have the finely honed philanthropic and humanitarian instincts of the ethically scrupulous to direct such funds to where it needs to go -- to those in need of it -- even under the auspices of SCC forensic accounting investigations.

I suppose there's merit to the thought that the truth will only extend as far as proof of the truth exists. It can be amusing though when an apparent lack of applicable axioms means I can be decried in public in the most contradictory terms by different parties dependent on the required narrative of attack.

I will admit I do like the currently trending Gurista and Traitor angle as a fresh addition to my already copiously disreputable public profile. If it was good enough to convince Federal security to grant me a provisional Caldari Prime citizenship it remains good enough for me. I still have no idea why the Home Guard would have filed such charges only to later drop them.

Although my current state of disrepute is, tragically, likely why Kaalakiota and myself no longer have anything to do with each other. After all what possible use could a disreputable Stateless mercenary such as I, that can operate freely under CONCORD extraterritoriality treaties and whose actions can be easily disavowed as a legal non-entity within the borders of the State be to a Caldari Mega such as Kaalakiota. It is practically an inconceivable arrangement to me without precedent in history.

Unfortunately, there was too much iyammarrok-grade stupidity in replies to the petition, this caused the discussion to become mostly worthless (with only a couple of replies worth attention). I had to reply on groundless lies and personal attacks instead of discussing really important topics.

That's basically what "diplomacy" with pro-gallentean "thinkers" looks like. You give them problem, they reply with "you are bad" variants. And this is why it's better just shoot them instead of talking with them. Damn fanatics.

I am not intended to argue with gallentean boltheads, who hide their stupidity under remarks about grammar instead of discussing the matter.

I was watching an old repeat of Battlestation Thanatos, (the 175 year anniversary version) and a plotline about two thirds of the way through the season reminded me of Kimmy here's claim that her self publicised war crimes were legal by state law...

something about a council of five citizens being able to make a judgement against suspected drone meatpuppet collaborators.

I did some digging, and it seems Nugoeihuvi licensed a Caldari remake of the show, it was VERY niche within their market, but just big enough to get a small cult following.
and it had the exact same plotline part way through.
