Original batch pricing still remains out of whack - 4,300 Aurum for a Tech 1 frigate SKIN. Smile

The addition of four Marauder SKINs, as well as the Sanctuary SoE line, came with a reasonable pricing model in light of the above.

...And they all crave one thing - ISK. ¤

You're comparing the entire art and graphics team to one specialized discipline on the game feature side.

Game designers serve a role roughly analogous to our art team's concept artists and art directors, and EVE definitely has more game designers than it has concept artists and art directors.

I think overall the skin system is pretty good, mechanically it's well implemented and works just fine, most of the skins (most) look good too. The only complaints I had were the lack of skins for hulls you'd actually want skins for and that's being resolved.

The only remaining issue is the pricing, which is still pretty bizarre.

Thanks indeed for the Golem skin. But I must ask, did you have to scrape the paint on all the edges? ALL of them?

Skins are nice but when can we go with custom color paint jobs? You know, "Paint the whole ship orange" sort of thing.
