Would it be possible to implement some sort of merge function of copies that are identical in ME/TE like if you accidentally made 10 copies with 1 run and not 10 runs 1 copy. to be able to merge those into 10 run 1 copy.

Like with invention copies of modules that takes you 5-6 hours to produce the 10 runs could it be possible to merged X amount of bpc¨s with the same exact ME/TE values so that you get a blueprint that has more then 10 runs so you dont have to refresh the cooker every 5-6 hours...

OR

Do something similar you did with invention that you can do multiple runs on inventions but like "use multiple copies" in a production slot.

hope i get ccp response on this

p.s. this could be much more user friendly for players who produce alot of invention stuff.

Benefits and drawbacks here.

For one, your possible production will go way up. Which is likely to drive profitability through the floor, as it's already possible for one person to crash some of the T2 markets.

Well of course its possible to have some sort of max runs but 10 runs is rather pathetic, perhaps being able to merged 2 or 3 bpc's so people can get a good night sleep Cool

Of course people can crash markets ... you only need isk for that buy up all then put it back on etc... its a part of eve.

When I say crash markets, I mean massively overproduce, so there's no way in hell anyone is going to get a sale at a decent price.

The PITA factor is part of production balance. It is not meant to be easy and hassle free.

This is true.

The changes that allowed multi-queueing of invention jobs dropped T2 module margins by around 50%, because the limiting factor in T2 module production was player click tolerance, not materials.

Multi-queuing invention and elimination of slots really lowered the barriers to entry for industry. With ALTS you can now have 33 research/production slots on each account making it very easy to oversupply the market. If anything, I would ask CCP to dial it back a bit - not make it easier. Would also be nice if they could find a way to get the T2 BPO's out of the game.

How about making it so you can see the runs remaining on a BPC in the inventory system?

Right now you have to look at each BPC separately, and its a bloody nightmare to manage hundreds of BPCs. Being able to see at least runs would massively improve my industry experience.
