Rhea Question

Helol ladies and gentlemen,

I currently have the skills to fly a Rhea and could value a lot since everything else I have lives in low sec. Now my question is what is the best way to save up for a Rhea? Is it running incursions, doing combat sites, doing missions, ratting? The reason why I ask this is because I've never had that much isk, sure I've had 1 to 2 bill here and there but never 7-10 bill. So any tips would be fantastic or a good way to save up for a Rhea would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Maykid

I just purchased my 3rd Rhea.

I've found the best way is to borrow the ISK. Not kidding, I recently borrowed 20b from a friend, and used some of that to buy another Rhea.

Beyond that, probably the simplest thing I do aside from manufacturing is hisec trade-hauling; buy low, haul, sell higher. Working with about 2b, I find I can earn 9% to10% in just a few days (one day of hauling, plus time it takes for orders to be filled / exhausted) using just a single Charon.

Whatever you do to earn ISK, I recommend that it be something you enjoy and / or are good at. It is much easier to earn ISK when you are having fun doing it [yes, I'm a weirdo that enjoys manually piloting a slow freighter].

I have a Rhea myself and use it quite a bit. I saved up by mining, building, and playing the market (buy low, sell high). You may also be suprised to find items that have been mispriced; I have had a few of thoes and a couple high value mis priced items that I made a bit of profit off of :P

It just depends on what you like to do tbh, just get out there and do it. Don't spend. If it helps, transfer your isk to a alt so you don't have the urge to buy stuff you don't need. That's what I did when I saved up for mine, heh, I love shopping :P

Do whatever you usually do for ISK but optimise it and cut your outgoings. Its amazing how much and how quickly clutter accumulates without you realising, sort it and sell it on that usually makes a fair amount if you haven't done it in a while.

Mhm... Might have to try those out. Except for the burrowing isk from people, I don't like being in debt too much and 7B debt is a hefty price to pay back. But I will definitely have to try hauling a few things here and there and making a profit from that or maybe even incursions/combat site running.

Thank you for the replies! And if you have anymore tips feel free to put them in, would love to hear how people save for a JF

running incursions on a 5% corp tax isn't bad

if your not working you can make around 16bil a month like i used to do

up to 1.4bil a day 10hr day 30mil every 15mins basicly

As I slipped my finger slowly inside her hole, I could immediately feel it getting wetter and wetter.

I took my finger back out and within seconds she was going down on me.

"I really need a new boat," I thought to myself.

I wish I had that kind of time to put into EvE everyday, but something has to pay the bills. But I might start doing incursions everyday a couple hours and do manufacturing as well to sell ammo/drones/equipment while I can't play during the day and make isk that way as well.

It really depends on your favorite style to play eve and the characters you have. If you have characters that can do everything then you can decide based on your time and the fun you have while playing. I do station trading for profit and wormhole exploration for fun due to limited time that i have to play eve.

Generally, if you have to skimp and save for months to afford a ship... you shouldn't fly it. Especially if said ship.is slower than continental drift and carries a valuable cargo. Food for thought.

Took me a minute to be able to purchase one myself after training and getting mastery 5 for it. I just ran incursions on this duder and station traded on an alt. It takes time but you'll get there eventually. Big smile

You could always buy a few plex and sell them off too. Roll
