Is there a good resource for eve app development?

I have some programming skills and I would like to develop some eve online business related apps. Is there a good resource with references to statistics and etc. that are necessary to get calculations right?

Also, some pointers on what kind of apps are possible.

For example, even though I have programming skills, I have no idea what kind of app I would develop. I have been around a little while, but I barely played. I like to automate tasks however, so I am interested in what is possible.

There isn't a main guide as far as I know. I guess this wiki is a place. http://wiki.eve-id.net/Main_Page

What's possible? Basically anything that uses the data dump files and the api.

A lot of the ideas for apps will be in your brain. I can't help you there P

Here is Stillman somehow managing to talk about the API for an hour! I'm not sure if it is useful for you but he has the sweet and soothing voice common amongst the good people of Denmark.

I'd really just reccomend logging onto irc.coldfront.net ( 6667 ) and join #eve-dev and see how many questions you can get away with before they start messing with you. Blink
