Where is the jamyl wonder weapon?

When the capsuleer jamyl led the counterattack against the Elder Fleet Rescue mission that was seeking to free those threatened with genocide and still held in illegal bondage by the slavery cultists she employed a heretofore unseen powerful weapon that disabled and or destroyed numerous vessels in the rescue fleet despite their shields and armor nearly instantaneously.

The use of that weapon turned the tide of the battles and further efforts to free others held in illegal bondage was immediately discontinued.

At the time withdrawing the rescue fleet seemed prudent, counter measures to the weapon were unknown. There was of course speculation that the weapon was a one shot wonder that the slavery cultists had stumbled across and not developed themselves. The entire cluster held it's breath waiting to see if the slavery cultists would employ this weapon in their demonic reclaiming assaults against the free people of New Eden.

To date the weapon has never resurfaced. It's singular use enabled jamyl to grab power within the slavery cult were she now sits as the undying head of that putrid regime.

Since the repulsion of the Elder Fleet Rescue mission before it was able to trigger the total collapse of the slavery cult regime the military defeats have accelerated to the point where jamyl made a plea to all capsuleers to help defend the crumbling facade of power that she has command of.

A plea that was for the most part ignored.

One must ask the question, with the slavery cultists regime losing ground in factional warfare, with the undetermined threat that the drifters represent, where is the jamyl wonder weapon?

If You Are Talking About The Terran Superweapon Then It Is Believed To Have Been Destroyed, Which Led To The Creation Of The First W-Holes. If I Remember Correctly

Despite the Amarr mobilization and the strange concentration of Vigilant Tyrannos vessels within Amarr space, I'm not sure we've exactly seen a 'crumbling facade' or any such thing. Indeed, the Amarr have recently been at the forefront of certain technical advancements with the release of first tactical destroyer, the release of the first Antikythera Element-based technology, and the development and distribution of schematics for DED-grade shielding for outposts. In the last two cases, the Lai Dai Corporation assisted, as is only reasonable.

It's almost as if you're biased. Perish the thought, I know.

On the basis that the Amarr have been at the forefront of these technological advancements would it be reasonable to suggest that they could possible have more knowledge than they are revealing about the drifter threat and technologies ? " release of the first Antikythera Element-based technology" Are you suggesting there are more technologies being developed off of this element ?

The original question, which you evaded by perchance your bias, remains, where is the jamyl wonder weapon?

The Jamyl wonder weapon is gone it has not been seen since the one time it was used and is presumed destroyed. however the recent technological advances by the Amarr leads me to belive that they could possibly have also created a new weapon of similar power

I'd be surprised if more aren't, given what little we know. What I'd be curious to see is if Antikythera Elements end up being employed as transmitter/receiver arrays for infomorphs in the coming months or years, or as remote sensor systems, or something of the sort.

Oh, and Matar Ronin: to answer your propaganda masquerading as a question, I doubt anyone here on the Galactic Summit really knows. Please, do carry on with your grandstanding.

You know, one good question was raised - where did she get that thing from anyway?

We don't know where she got the first one, she could have hundreds for all we know. While I support the goals of the Elder fleet I worry that attempting something similar wouldn't work so well in the future since I am sure the Amarr are far more prepared now and they could be a stockpile of those weapons somewhere.

But yes I would sure like to know where that weapon came from.

No one knows what happened to the Mekhios Superweapon; it was only seen on one occasion, in the battle over Mehkios. However, chatter along the spacelanes carries rumors that the weapon was used at least once before, against a Blood Raider fleet in the T-IPZB system, on the day of Jamyl Sarum's return.

Theories abound on what the true origin of the weapon is. Many faithful Amarr I have encountered insist that it was granted to her by the divine, for the purpose of destroying enemies of the Empire. Others contend that the source of the weapon was ancient technology, similar to what many take from the Sleepers, but on a much more powerful scale, as evidenced by its sheer power. The only weapon with anything remotely similar to its strength is the "Aegis", as some call it - the Drifter Battleships' primary weapon. However, even this is nowhere near as powerful as the Mekhios weapon was reported to be. What exactly the source was remains a total mystery.

It's all theory; we know nothing of its origins or of its fate. All we may do is guess until it is revealed to us.

It's in Cardinal Graelyn's pants.

You know how he keeps on hinting about a 'sword long prepared?' Yep, that's it.

I love it when lackeys, erm... I mean Caldari allies, of the Anarr show up pretending to be unbiased observers/arbiters.

Please do carry on, though.

Minmatar militia are working on turning a moon into one gigantic auto cannon, some issues with redeployment, tracking speed, reload time and procuring ammunition have been encountered...its Alpha Strike is acceptable however.

In the meantime I f anyone locates the Amarr super weapon we will orbit it until it's capture!

Try and ensure there aren't any potential faults, like a really long moon spanning trench that some lucky pilot could traverse for an arbitrary reason and then fire some kind of magical space bomb into the core through an exposed exhaust vent.
Or something like that.

Amarr militia don't have the skills, besides their ships are all sparkly so are easy to intercept.

Bigger risk is if they use their lazors and start burning all the duct tape holding the thing together!

So I enjoy a glass of wine and a steak every so often while watching Scope News, how does that make me degenerate? Maybe you should pull that stick out of your butt and enjoy life more and spend less time praying, conquering and enslaving.

Oh, and I hear getting regular sexual satisfaction helps as well. Ask your old Chamberlain about that if he's still alive, that is.

Apparently the stick is so far up your own ass you can't see a joke when it slaps you upside the head.
Good grief. Lighten up.
