Did he fall asleep? How do you even catch such ship? Oh, I see now...Cargoholds...Yeah, that's the way to fit it. Twisted

Seriously thought, insta warp out - safe dock bookmarks, agi fit, how do you catch those things if pilot hasn't been asleep?

In highsec and lowsec? You really don't unless they were unlucky and spawned in system right on top of you / another ship or a wreck / junk sitting on the gate and can't insta-cloak. You might also get lucky and catch a paper-tanked one warping to a gate with a smartbomb camp.

In nullsec? Bubble camps. Use a fast ship like an interceptor / frigate and charge right at the last place you saw them / expect them to be. De-cloak them, point them and pray to the Loot Fairy.

Fedo. Fedo? Fedo!

But to be killed by a 1400 mm howitzer? Now that an example how not to fly a blockade runner.

I see these guys autopilot all the time. The ship is pointless if you don't cloak it.

Stations can be dangerous for them too in my experience. I did lose one that wayOops

Went to jita during a time when I was rather laggy, landed 2k off the station since I was lazy and didn't have a bookmark inside docking ring. Since they warp cloaked, damage control wasn't on ,and before I fully loaded grid this green egg thing appeared on my screen. Same way, some tornado with 1400 howitzers hoping to get lucky.

Ive also seen people lose them because they didn't use an insta-undock.

Lost my pod yesterday to a 2000m warp off the station...Never thought someone could insta-lock pod. Now I know. Lol

I also lost a Blockade Runner warping cloaked to the Jita dock. Actually got the "docking request accepted" message - then a series of notifications advising me I was dead. Pod docked fine. Now have an insta-dock bookmark!

Another one. Medium shield extenders + EM resists. They make Jita campers sad.

I see that one only has 2 medium slots. I'd pick a different BR to train.

LSE and DC gives it enough buffer to resist 1 volley. Two will do it but not like they'd know to bring a second Nado.

Active modules including DCU won't work if you're cloaked. I was able to fit the "compact" T1 LSE and AB to my Prowler. Hopefully can tank 1 volley but in no rush to test!

Even though I am very strongly in the anti-gank camp, they do offer a "service" in helping players play better! Anyone without an Insta undock in any of the main hubs is asking for trouble. Anyone carrying lots of expensive stuff undocking anywhere without an Insta undock is asking for trouble

Sadly trouble found this dude - a harsh lesson but hopefully won't do it again....

Get bumped on the undock, can't align quickly, BLAM you're dead.

Happens to anything without a tank there. Insta-undock won't help you.
Sooner or later it will happen.
TANK it, people.

When you undock you are not bumpable, ships go through you. However if your nose points in a different direction before you click warp, then someone might be able to bump you in that short align time. That is why my ship is fit for max agility, so the time window is very small, the rest is tank, and I'd say it's good enough to survive any alpha.

These ships are designed to move around fast and avoid fire, so fitting carhohold expanders is the biggest mistake you can make. If you need cargo, deep transport ships are ones for the job.

If you're arriving at a station you don't have a docking bookmark for you can spam click the DCU. It will engage the moment you decloak.

Am I stupid for decloaking and activating tank in the deacceleration to things? I find landing cloaked on gates sometimes keeps me there longer due to the short travel to get decloaked by gate. And same goes for stations.

(Stations only if I got a docking bookmark ofc)

Get on Comms, or die typing.

- Autopiloting between gates
- Instapopped after landing decloaked outside docking ring
- Forgetting to activate cloak
- Spawning within 2km of someone else after jumping gate
- Capable WT ceptor pilot goes for the decloak
- Server lag
- Accidentally pressing the cloak button twice
- Being a ****** and not even fitting a cloak

There are many reasons that BR's and other cloaky ships get killed in HS, and it happens all the time.

Best thing you can do to ensure survival in a BR is manually pilot everywhere, fit a cloak (use it properly) and have instadock bookmarks for the hubs you travel between.
