Lack of destroyers in FW

I've noticed a lack of destroyers, other than t3, in Faction Warfare. Why is that? Or am I just blind and there are and I just don't notice?

They are around, but much less often now that T3D's have filled the niche of destroyers, interdictors, and AFs in FW lowsec.

I'm sure you can find some gates with a thrasher or 2, or 3-6, sitting on it.

t3 dessies seem to have reduced the amount of solo t1s, but as gang / fleet boats i see plenty

It is good to see I am not alone in flying Minmatar ships outside of the Svipul (which I do fly as well). Minmatar ships are much better than people give them credit for.

Hmm, saw a couple of Algos, Catalyst and Dragoon today ... but no solo Thrasher I can remember. One pair of Hawk/Retribution but no other PvP AFs today ...

Using Svipuls for instalock blapping is a waste of the hull when a thrasher is cheaper, and does the job just as good.
