If your corp doesn't make enough to buy a freighter, you should probably do something else. But I doubt that is the case this time.

Sorry to hear of your decision. EVE is a harsh game unfortunately and too many players leave because of setbacks. For some the reason to leave is ganking while for others it's a quick boredom setting in. For some subscribers in the future it will be because of Larus argentatus' vision... whatever.

There is a saying in EVE that you don't fly what you can't afford to lose. If you were setting yourselves up as industrialists then ship losses and POS losses must be part of your risk assessment as they are just a feature of this game. You pick yourselves up and get on with your game, not making the same errors twice helps. There was talk of a 'Burn Amarr'-right?

I hope however that you find a game more suited to your expectations and sorry that EVE has proved too tough as we can't afford to lose many more subscribers.

Thank you guys for some of your words of encouragement, yes I know not to fly what I can't afford to replace and all that stuff and "rage quitting" probably isn't the best way to go about it, nor was ranting over on the forums however I hope you can understand the feelings at the time.

Besides, I never expected kind comments in return and such but Carrie-Anne Moss took it to a whole other level. Thank you for all those words of advice Carrie.

Carrie-Anne Moss is best to be ignored completely. You can hide her posts. I have as well because they are way beyond annoying on these forums.

I once got ganked in a T1 industrial with no tank. I had over 1b isk in goods.

According to eve-kill, I've lost over 2b in my lifetime. The ISK will flow back to you.

Ignore her, immature, poisonous and troll immediately spring to mind.

Click name and hide posts is the only way to deal with people like that.

Seriously, it's not worth quitting over; learn from it, dust yourself off and try again. The following just about sums it up.

A long time ago, in a thread far, far away; Derrick Miles wrote:

no i'm sorry Finn, you don't understand not to fly what you can't afford to lose, you'd still have the ship if you had learned it's value and how it should be flown/supported before you undocked it full of crap.

I know I mentioned this in my last post but seriously thank you some of you for your harsh, unkind but mostly valid points regarding what had happened this morning.

I enjoy the challenges EVE gives, that's why I started to l play it in the first place, this morning however felt unfair hence the outburst and perhaps I had become a bit too complacent.

I've decided to keep my sub going and try again, learn from the mistakes and see where that leads us.

Also, thanks for the heads up about Carrie, her posts are now hidden!

Glad you decided to stay.

But..uh...what does this mean in terms of your stuff and your chance of giving it away?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I'm a little scarerd that the forum seems to be overrun by low-effort wannabe trolls nowadays, but I believe that's nothing we cannot fix. Blink
