So I've just returned to EVE after a few years leave and I'm looking for ship loadouts. I was using battleclinic before I left but it seems pretty sparse these days. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

ask here instead, give us a little info on what you want to do,
let us bicker amongst ourselves for a little bit and you should end up with a good fit by the end of it.

bit slower but you will be called a scrub 100% less of the time when posting here (unless you give us the impression you are ,but at least here you aren't assumed to be one form the outset)

After the update BC did the Loadout part of the website is trashy.

You better asking here or checking...https://o.smium.org/ For fits.

EFT is also encouraged.

the new BC layout is atrocious. I used to post there regularly, but its a mess of broken links, with a frustrating loadout creator. So i've stopped for the most part. Lot of the regulars have left as well.

Post your idea here is the best i can say right now. I'm sure someone here can provide help.

*Please create your github-account, log-in there, figure out how to do comments on projects, then submit a comment there and send us a mail on BC about that comment* - that response to *your website is bad because ...* was probably not smart.

Battleclinic has a decent amount of optimized loadouts, but it also has a lot of bad ones. And if you sort the loadouts by rating you end up viewing mostly loadouts from many years ago, so it can be difficult to find the optimized loadouts for many ships. There are also a great many ships for which Battleclinic has literally no optimized loadouts posted, but only a multitude of out-dated, or merely workable ones.

They also have a bit of an elitist clique thing going on, where the site is run by a small group of elite players who suck each other off and crap on anyone else who posts. It's not a very nice community but they do know what they are talking about most of the time.

You should probably still use Battleclinic as they can offer great advice but utilize the wonderful Eve Online forums as well and maybe failheap, if it's still running, to discuss loadouts.

BC can be a good place to get some starer fits, but you will need to look them over very carefully as many of them are rendered nearly useless by game changes since they were posted.

EFT is not the only prgram you can use for fitting, EvE HQ and PYFA are both excellent tools as well. Use the one you like most.
