daltonism problem with new icons, impossible to do PvP

As someone who knows that my corp takes measures as an NPSI roam group to accommodate for all types of disabilities, I wholeheartedly support some sort of change to the icon/color/what have you system to allow for a more color-blind-friendly setup.

I am really not bothered by the icon changes,in fact i do like them for the sake of modernizing the whole HUD however i do support the OP fellow pilot and I'd love CCP to find a way to create an option for such medical case..

CCP will do nothing. They removed UI color customization and so make it harder to use depending of the player. Dark themes are difficult for me to use, it can be from small inconveniences like closing a window (as I don't see well the borders of it and so can fail to find the cross to close it), to more...

So why would they take care of color-blinded players now ? It is obvious that they want to make them leave. Less code to maintain is always a good thing, and I guess that is even if it costs few players and reputation (and they don't care of it).

I support this topic, but I know that they won't do anything. It is a matter of pride.

It's the jump issue all over again. There was a huge thread on it and nothing has changed.

There are multiple journal papers out there detailing the specific issues with games and motion sickness.

Solution? Give us a toggle to allow for the wormhole jump animation......Nothing.

Hopefully you don't get the same treatment.

Everything is white on my overview with the exception of:

- NPC [RED]
- Wreck owned by someone [YELLOW]
- Wreck abandoned by someone [BLUE]

Where does color blindness come into 'EVERYTHING IS WHITE' exactly?

Did you set up some funky overview settings?

Not against what you're asking for, just not following the logic.

So i guess you're not using the standing system, or make trips down null, and aren't in a corp which uses standing to differentiate certain people/corps.

And actually, even NPC's aren't very visible for me, i have trouble seeing which are locking me/firing at me, and which are on other people.

Edit: the NPC's are due to the background colors mostly though.
