Today I decided I would give Eve another go after being away for a while(2 years? Who knows... time flies). Been playing off and on since a little after launch.

It's bothersome that they still don't seem to have their shite together from an implementation standpoint.

The launcher, once it FINALLY does load, does nothing. Actually, that's not true... it does SOMEthing... it kills my internet connection. Yes, you read that right. Running the Eve Launcher kills my internet connection. It's not downloading anything and hogging bandwidth, it simply blocks my computer from accessing web-pages. Strangely, google works fine. But loading any other page results in a "page not found" error(And yet I can ping and tracert the sites). As SOON as you shut the launcher down(which takes nearly a minute for some reason), web pages load like greased lightning again.

Sometimes, and I stress SOMETIMES, the eve launcher begins to download updates. After about 15 minutes it had about 300KB of the total 300MB. Yeah, no thanks. I could type raw binary faster than that.

Firewall is disabled, I am currently DL'ing the entire client from the "offline install" sources and have removed all previously installed files in hopes a fresh, FULL install will help.

I activated my time for plex thingie, giving me exactly 4 hours of game time to log in and sort my stuff out. If the game isn't working by then, I'm simply not gonna play. This is a sort of BS. How do they expect to attract players if the stupid game won't even install/start? I certainly wouldn't be going to this extent did I not already have accounts and chars.
