Alright I have been around Eve for a while, had a forced break to got to Iraq.... but hey it was the job then.

On to the question. I have finished the Sisters of Eve Epic Arc mission with a character of mine, and I am wondering what will happen if I were to do it again? So far the only thing that I have been able to find is that you have to wait like 3 months. Now, I have gone to see 'Sister Alitura, Epic Arc Agent, Division: Security'. Located in Arnon IX - Moon 3 - Sisters of EVE Breau.
When talking to her about doing the 'Epic Arc mission'. I get the following message:

"Hello XXXXXX. Good to see you again. I would like to remind you that you have previously completed this epic arc and for you to embark on it once again I would have to erase all memory of the arc from your mind. Are you sure you would like to start this journey once again and lose all history of this arc?"
--with the option of 'yes' or 'no'

Can anyone explain what happens if I click yes? Because, I am trying to boost my faction standing, and I am not real sure about the outcome of this option that has been given to me here. Will I lose the standing that I got the first time round? Or, is this not an issue?

Any help on this is welcome.
Thanks in advance for taking time to share information.

All it will do is erase the mission reports from the appropriate section of your Journal (I don't remember what it's called, offhand) and allow you to redo the Arc as if it were the first time. Your standings will remain unchanged, so you can do it over and over again and get faction standing boosts that way. It's good for balancing out poor standings, as one of the final missions basically says "Which Empire do you want to get a standing boost for?" before packing you off to kill Dagan.

you can redo each epic arc every 4? ( or is it 3?) months
basically its like you never did it to begin with so you do each mission as before start the same as before.

SoE epic Arc eh?

My -6.00 with crapdari solution was to make 3 other accounts and train them all to BS 5 and BC 5 in unique races and have them bring ships back to Gallente space for me.

I guess this would have been easier. Ugh

oh well, /shrug

It´s 3 months and you will, of course, also get the usual storyline missions after every 16th mission for the involved corporations...

Edit: Oh, and the final standing raise is 8,5% with the faction of your choice, iirc.

All non-aurora epic arcs (7 of them) can be repeated on a three-monthly cycle. Once your three months is up the agent asks if you want your memory erased and if you accept clears the relevant page in that section of your journal and you start afresh.

The aurora ones may be the same but IDK.

If your wanting to repair faction standings then the relevant lvl4 arc would do you better ... and following DMCs faction standings repair plan will be much much quicker (read this).

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Well now... Thanks for the help with this. I have looked at several postings about the other Arc missions. However, The toon I am doing this with is, well is more attuned to shooting at things that do not shoot back.... at all. Never mind a lvl 4 mission. The only exception to this non-shooting back thing is the occasional rat...

Again thanks for the help here. This will augment my Faction gain . Big smile

Right .... in case anyone else is going to follow this. Apparently you still have to send in a 'Petition' after making the drop at the end of the last mission. As I have just done so, and not gotten any sort of mission pay out, or Faction Standing.

Hmmm... so, I guess you have to turn it in twice? Or there was some sort of 'time flux glitch'? At any rate i docked up checked my journal to find the mission still listed. Re-opened it and there was the option to complete it still. After clicking it this time the mission was completed. Faction Standings were applied and the mission pay out was deposited.

wasn't it more easy to buy 1 freighter char (4 billions) + 1 freighter (< 1 billion) to haul what you need?Shocked
give it some market skills and you get good Jita courier for yourself

The epic arcs have all been temperamental for some time now ... in that they do not always award the correct faction standings boost upon completion. Sometimes they do, and sometime they don't.

CCP is obviously well aware of this and have quickly responded to almost every petition I submit for this, and there have been quite a few. Do not be alarmed, however, if the apparent standings boost when you check via "Show Transactions", is not what you had expected. Before you go petitioning again (as I have on several occasions) have a look at the actual standings and how much they've changed.

For some reason that I do not yet properly understand a CCP manual standings change of, say +6%, ends up having the same effect as if the final agent had awarded me the +38% I was expecting. Odd, but true.
