Stealin' jetcans from clueless miners counts as "what the game's environment has to offer" and saves you tons of time. Srsly if ya only ever spend ya time mining ya ships you ain't gonna get past ya first month. It'll just be blown up in smoke and ya'll gonna restart from scratch. Again. And again. That's not ironman at all, it's insanity. Yeah and what Commisioner Kate said about ya looks.

The issue you will run into is blue prints. It will be very hard to get around finding a bp you cna use to build stuff, as you will be stuck in a rookie ship, so killing npc's for a BPC drop or running missions will be hard.

BP's will be your biggest bottle neck, that and skills. Because you can only get skills form the market. If you an;t buy anything, that will be a problem.

You will have to modify your rules, otherwise you will be stuck

Very true, maybe edit in, purchase from NPC's only.......could be an option.....

How do you plan on obtaining anything beyond a newbship?

Starter missions offer skill books + frigs. I believe LP from faction warfare can assist in BP + T2 Ships, components.

As mentioned the social aspect of the game is being ignored as this is a big part of the game this seems wrong to call your project "The EVE experience".

You could also consider modifying your parameters to include, negotiated trades (via contract) with other players to obtain items instead of the only buy from NPC parameter. This will keep it hard mode but will also include social interaction while allowing you to keep your not buy anything from the market parameter.

I wouldn't say I'm ignoring the social aspect, as i will be interacting with the forum community. Not to mention, the interest of building a corp, either they follow the Ironman / women rules or not. The command and signal could still come from me, I just have rules attached to my game play.

Okay but seriously now:

.) The colorwheel has been discovered ages ago and cries because ya keep ignoring it

.) Yer cheeks should not be drowning in makeup, at least not so obviously

.) THE COLOURS MAN THE COLOURS WHAT THE HELL

.) The face is great though. Tiny bit manly. No harm in that; tons of people like transgender or a dominatrix

.) Yer face lacks any emotional expression. It's a cold hard rock in the middle of the sea waitin' to destroy the lovin' relationship between Leonardo DrivesCabrio and Kate Whineslet.

Sorry I can't help myself and I mean ya no harm at all! Srsly happy though ya givin' me the opportunity to have some fun postin'!

On the one hand people are to varying degrees being a bit picky & maybe a little trollishly mean.

However - constructively, at the bare minimum, your characters' facial structure has slightly masculine traits, particularly cheek bone, jawline and chin. These sorts of things are all matters that generally rest in the eye of the beholder, but at the absolute minimum one could start playing with portrait posture to obscure/adapt some of your characters' skeletal traits. Particularly as a straight-on posture really accentuates those features of her face. Angled, experiments with lighting, makeup & hair combining with shoulder direction, in contrast with head direction (facing slightly at an angle) could improve things a bit.

That yellow top is very off putting to me, it just does not fit in very well with the blue Quafe shirt or the blue background.

Hate to derail this thread further with this but so what if it's a dude IRL.

Dudes who play chicks telling another dude who plays a chick how to make her hotter and more stylish with makeup and poses. Oh eve.

Anyways OP, when you are on this quest, make sure you abide by the other two hard mode settings - no alts, and if you get podded you must biomass your character. You'd be legendary.

o7 Hello folks!

Before i kick this thing off, i apologise in advance to the people running the content in the forums. If this is in the wrong section then please point me in the right direction.

I've been thinking about EVE and its contents and being a sandbox game I thought there would be no better place to do the following. I believe the term I'm looking for is the 'Ironman Account', an idea I stole from the Runescape 3 community (Please don't judge me to harshly). Basically, the player creates a new account with specific rules.

1.) The player can not trade or buy from the market hubs.
2.) Everything must be self made, found, rewarded, sourced from the games environment.
3.) The player can not accept donations of any kind.

i.e, if i want a specific ship to fly, then i need to mine my own materials, use PI for the components, find the correct blue prints and gather the right skill books to achieve this goal. Not to mention the specific modules I need to fit the ship (as you can see, the task is endless.....)

Why do this?

Well, I would love to document how i get on, starting with nothing and progressing my career as a pilot. If that is not creating your own content, than i don't know what is. Hopefully, through my career documentation, 'newbies' or vets can get a few ideas for them selves and understand that actually, in EVE you literally can do anything.....

I hope to get some feed back on the communities interest and if it turns out there's a lot of interest.

Then i shall do the following:

1.) Report on my findings, progression, problems, the lot.
2.) Produce detailed fortnightly (Maybe weekly) stories of my time is space, as i know there is a lot of people interested in space stories.
3.) I hope to catch some of this content via online streaming sources, however my internet is terrible and need to look into it.

So please + or - for your interests....

Thank you....

Now with that off my chest....

Seen a lot of people attempt that mix/match combo with the catsuits n' tank tops.

Haven't actually seen anyone make it work yet though.

It's become the new meta in space fashion faux pas.

**** yeah. Space barbies FTW. Freya's way hotter than any chick I actually know and I care not who knows that.

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

Want to make New Eden a nice place? Try this out.

My character:
1.) tries not to (not cannot) trade or buy buildable items from the market hubs. (only blueprints and skills)
2.) tries to (not must) make everything from the games environment and raw materials.
3.) tries not to (not cannot) accept donations.

My character is currently creating Planetary materials to build a POS Control Tower so that he can harvest moon resources to make Tech II (items)

To this end, I have created a Corp with a single member (who just so happens to be me). This "unlocks" all of the game features that I enjoy (or think I will enjoy) playing with. If I find another player that would be happy to play the same way as I, I would love to have them join our corporation. pm me in-game

The game is truly a sandbox, but it is first and foremost a game.
You already can do anything you want to do in the game with the current rules (features) in place.

The most important thing about EvE is that you have fun playing EvE. If you cannot, try something else :)
