HA HA HA!!! The CSM is bogus. It's window dressing for CCP to claim it has player input. CSM proudly doesn't represent the player base. They not only say so, they brag about it. The ones they DO represent tell us, "If you want someone to represent YOU, elect somebody!" The less we see of the CSM the better.

Now, if we can only get CCP to stop insulting us with announcements about their fabulous meetings and how "helpful" they were to guide CCP toward doing what CCP was going to do ANYWAY.

Here's to not being duped by a public relations stunt. Cool

There just isn't anything that can be said!

While you have a point in regards to the whole lol-voting and hidden agenda stuff, some CSM truly are different. Some actually care for "the greater good" and EVE as a whole.

Yes why can't we have PROPER player reps like they have in such Mmos as

"Just remember later that I warned against any change to jump ranges or fatigue. You earned whats coming."

Where are you guys?

AWOL or just a dereliction of duty? Vets aren't logging in right now, and Iceland has been quiet for over a week.

Where are you guys?

maybe if you were more connected you would see their activity. I've seen corbex, steve and sugar all take part in discussions in the past two days. Just because they don't seek you out doesn't mean they aren't doing things.

Do they take part in discussions on the forums, or on their personal blogs where they get ad revenue?

Part of their job is community engagement, as we see here part of the community is expressing concern that they're not doing their requirement...

Huh, no one else from CSM has shown up here.

Beyond Mike Azariah I'm unsure if anyone currently on the CSM is an active participant on the official forums, I only browse it periodically myself and rarely post. Depending on which "circle" you're involved with (alliance, forums, podcasts, blogs, reddit, etc) you will probably be exposed to a different subset of CSM members who use that medium as well. The majority of CSM10 members are active this year and despite a slow start I feel like we've been making good progress.

If you want to get in touch with the CSM, follow this link:

And even expecting ME to hit GD everyday is a bit much, no?

I have been in the threadnaughts, there are blogs, there have been soundclouds . . .

sweet mercy, what do you want, hand delivered summaries of the days activities?

Summer will be more quiet. Iceland likes its summers takes advantage of that. We will be girding our loins and preparing for the first summit at the end of summer. (Yes, I am going to it) so this would be a good time to ask for things you want us to talk to CCP about.

unless, of course, you subscribe to the negative folks above who are positive that I am part of a huge publicity scam.

then why would you even wonder where we are? No, you hope and maybe believe we are something, we do something, or you wouldnt ask. But General discussion? No, lots of the csm choose not to step into this. Some speak only to their own 'constituents' and brain trusts.

for better or worse, you're mine.

god help us all

Not sure how I missed this one.

Probably it was the really useful title. Or possibly that it wasn't in the Assembly hall or speakers park forums.

We're around. We're still talking with CCP. And each other. And having some (generally civil) arguments with each other about things.

Woo! CSM XI!
