I noticed that moving from empire to empire that there are more data sites in some space than others. I don't know if I saw any data sites in minmatar space but the sleeper sites I can't quite probe. Is this mapped somewhere? Also, are relic sites or gas sites in these places worth doing? Currently sticking to hisec and low sec because my skills can't find much inside wormholes or nosec. Finally, when I can get the sleeper data sites eventually, are they doable in a t1 frigate?

The sites spawn randomly. Some systems will get a lot, some will not. Once a site despawns, it respawns somewhere else; but usually not in the same system.

-I don't think relic sites are worth doing in hi-sec. They are the most valuable in other space.
-Data sites in high sec are usually worth about 500K-2mill.
-Gas sites are only located in a few regions in high-sec. Most of them aren't valuable in high sec. The ones in wormhole can be if you want to go back and get a venture.
-You should be able to scan down sites inside wormholes and null if you use a Sisters launcher and probes + scan bonus ship. Maybe not sleeper sites until you get medium skills. Learn how to manually adjust the probes to get the last few percent of scanning.
- You can run a limited sleeper site in an astero. You are much better off with a Stratios for the other two.

I think the OP has set course for Veldspar Fields since he belongs to Doomheim Corp.

Sites spawn are random, but I would say pseudo-random as I can see patterns in occurence of some types of sites. But its not like I 'd like to share that observation in more detail.

No, guess I should have said Elysian Fields.

Anyway, when a character joins Doomheim Corp, that basically means the character has been retired,

permanently.

It may seem like there are more Data sites in certain regions based on how active the locals are with exploration, you only find Data sites because all of the rest are farmed religiously.

And they're random :)
