We have continued the dogged upgrading of the home system; now upgraded for entrapment (escalations), Ore, Ratting (Pirate Detection) and Relic and Data sites.

Everyone's having a huge blast running the sites, doing some exploration, then a bit of mining. Great to see everyone chilling and taking it easy in a piece of space that we have shaped, built up and moulded to our own needs.

Its the game equivalent of being given a parcel of land, then stripping it, ploughing it and planting crops. The great thing is we are in the harvesting phase and everyones making lots of iskies having fun being Eve farmers in industry and rattings.

Hey ho - back to work we go....

The Corp is continuing to offer a great home to PVE players who particularly enjoy ratting in NullSec or who vibrant careers in mining and industry. We are growing steadily and all new members comment frequently on the awesome backend integrations and web features that bring the Corp alive for them; even when not in the game. The WhatsApp Messenger is a cool toy too that helps Corpies stay in touch when they are on the road, at work or otherwise unable to log in to the game.

Even though we are fast approaching 80 members in Corp broadly equally split across Western Europe and USA timezones we have far more facilities, anoms and industrial capacity available than we can effectively farm. We continue to look for chilled, relaxed toons to team up with us.

You'll appreciate the lack of doctrines, no CTA's, mature and relaxed game style plus our investment in really cool technology and integrations on the website that really bring the Corp alive; whether you are in game or trying to keep up with what's happening from the 'cube' in the office.

I'm delighted to report that Discoverings has stayed in the great north with The Imperium and is flying with the Space Monkey's Alliance. We are all absolutely thrilled to be part of these big events in the game; albeit in our own little way.

Discoverings is continuing to grow. Moving to one of the big alliances, itself nestled within the super alliance of the Imperium increases our momentum and the opportunities our members have to not just survive in the game; but to thrive within it.

We now have huge tracts of 0.0 open to us; where we travel freely; where we have solid home defense and can play the game still the way we like; when we like surrounded now by many thousand friends in that lovely deep shade of blue.

Whilst we are still settling in to our new home region in the map we are still actively recruiting and doing what we can to make it possible to share in our journey; and our game.

Well, it has been a good couple of weeks since we moved over to our new home nestled in with the Space Monkeys Alliance and The Imperium.

Whilst a rather different style of game play than the one we enjoyed as independent NullSec renters we have been made to feel very much at home in the new space we call home.

With the coming changes in the game induced by FozzieSov there's still a lot of things to clarify; not just for Discoverings; but for all of us that have spent much time living out in Sovereign NullSec. Whatever we knew or did in the past is largely irrelevant.

Discoverings is well positioned to embrace the impending changes and is already working alongside other Corps in the Alliance on digging in to make our home a solid fortress for the long term.

We are therefore opening our doors again to recruitment. The many of you that applied to join in at Discoverings will have been sorely disappointed for sure by our closed doors but there was no way we could actively support new member on boarding during a big process of moving from one side of the game map to the other. It would simply not have been fair or appropriate.

So, if you are keen on embracing life as a sovereign nullsec player and want to take part in one of the biggest changes in the game for many years then you can't go too wrong by knocking on our door and finding out what its like. We are still out there offering a great home to chilled, laid-back, no drama based toons that like playing the game; especially those that are intruigued by the new FozzieSov NullSec mechanics. We are finding an awesome and comfortable blend between traditional carebear renter style PVE lifestyles in Null and the mechanics of living and enjoying the privileges of Alliance membership.

I have to say that Discoverings has adapted really well to the opportunity; maintaining many of its historic PVE focussed values but also fully embracing the mechanics of modern FozzieSov Null.

Folks, our doors are very much open for anyone wanting to embrace the new NullSec lifestyle as we approach FozzieSov - we mine, we rat, we build, we explore, we fight, we do it all.

Discoverings maintains its laid back approach to the game; focussing on game fun with a balanced approach in some of the best space in the game and certainly nestled within one of the most established alliances in the game.

I tell you what! It's fascinating living in the biggest NullSec mechanics change in the game and being part of the preparations for it. The Discoverings Team are having a great time nurturing our space, farming it, enjoying it and every now and again tagging on with an alliance operation in some form to deal with the neighbours.

It's one thing to go out in a small fleet with a handful of friends; it is another to go out as part of an alliance fleet in numbers and seeing the neutrals in local scattering like deer in the headlights of our combined numbers as we travel around NullSec.

That said, we still spend 90+% of our time mining, ratting, exploring and chilling on our own Teamspeak having fun. Whilst we have lost our Carebear past in moving over to our new home we have gained so much more and it's really good fun. Whether you fly for 2 or 3 hours a day or so much in a week we can offer you a great home. Give Orion a poke and join us in TS3. Find out what we are about. We are a chill group of pilots all doing whatever we feel like doing unless there are Neuts that need popped. The alliance has people in it from about every timezone and ops are ran at varying times, so whatever timezone your in there is usually some fun to be had.

Yeah, still a time of big changes with FozzieSov out here in player owned NullSec - but all is good! We are making lots of money, having lots of fun and enjoying the camaraderie and community provided by the Corp. If you aren't truly engaged in a progressive and well positioned Corp in the game then you are making a tough game even tougher still!
