The point of the message remains and yes i am pissed off. What do you want? A Friendly reminder that CCP is acting like douchebags on this issue?

Funny how mining fleets get reported as botters but the guy botting 4 tengus night after night doesn't get called out.

Mad at someone in eve? Report them as a botter and get CCP doing your pvp for you.

thread has been reported.

Now then. if your 'friend' did nothing wrong, have them file a damn petition. No one gives a crap about him/her/you being banned. You are not warning anyone of anything, because we all look at you like you are your 'friend' is lying.

Petition and be done with it.

You keep saying "in fact they never used an input broadcast etc" yet you have not shown any proof but your word. And we all know how reliable a posters word is. So I accept without revocation that you are tellin the truth and CCP is evil and put to get you.

Maybe they were all convo'd in local by a dev and were asked "Who here is a bot or IS-Boxing?" and they all replied "No tme!" at the same time. Probably not, but you never know...

You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friends nose. Unless you podded them...and collected their corpse.

The point is botters are easy to pick out. My point is that it may be worth pondering the astounding conclusion that they cast the net too far and its screwing over honest people.

These two statements do not appear to fit together.

If finding bots is easy, then your friends should not have been caught in the net...unless they were botting/violating the EULA.

If your friends really and truly are innocent, then maybe finding bots is not easy.

My question is, if someone was insane and good enough could their physical movements actually mimic the broadcast functions and fail the algorythm? He pulls tricks like fleet warp and stuff but the rest of it is math based on how many turrents he needs to click in x time etc. So there is a ton of rapid success clicks. MANUAL clicks.

I often run 2 clients, sometimes 3. I tab between clients and manually do things, have been doing it a rather long time. So I'm guessing the answer to your question is generally, "No." Maybe your buddy is really, really fast, but I'm assigning a rather low probability to this.

A few things the OP needs to bear in mind

1. We cant accept your unsupported word that they aren't doing what you claim they aren't doing.

2. You're doing them no favours at all going off on one like this. If you really want to help them let them file their petitions and escalate them if needed, all you need to do is keep quiet while they get resolved.

3. It doesnt matter how pissed off you are, ranting on the forums solves nothing and just makes you look stupid.

It's a bit random given that I'm living near a long time bot mining group that I have reported and not seen any action taken(I've even seen their bot program fail). So bad luck on your friend's part but rest assured CCP is doing just as garbage of a job against bots as they are with every other aspect of the game.

Am I the only one who doesn't believe that this friend actually exists?

It's like this "uh...something embarrassing happened..I need advice...but not for me, for a friend of course, who is ashamed to ask..."

The answer is always lube, by the way.

90% of the time, someone who posts on behalf of their 'friend' is in fact that friend.

So, how did he manage to click 10 miners inside 1 second ?

That makes me wonder...

If someone running multiple clients was lagged out while clicking miners on each one, wouldn't the server detect all of them being clicked at the exact same moment when his connection finally sorted itself out?

Who put the goat in there?
