Since 2010 I have been slinging guns in the digital sandbox that is EVE.

I have always flown dangerously because it is the only way I know.

Respect to my long time friend Carrion Crow. He is the best pilot I have known and also the only pilot I know who is as crazy as me. Together we have had many adventures across all of EVE space. We almost always fought outnumbered and against the odds. We usually won, sometimes lost, never shed tearz and always had fun. I learned a lot from him, and my time in EVE would not have been as much fun had I not known him. I wish you good luck in life and love brother.

Respect to Scotayne Hawkins and the old timers from TLC. In the era of C6 Pantheon fleets we were unbreakable. Scot is a true beta veteran and he and his corp brought me up from noob to a capable PVP pilot. It was with Scot and company where I scored my first capital kill, flew my first T3, made my first Billion and held the line against invading forces under a hail of T3 & Dreadnaught primary fire. I may have left corp a while back but I never forgot the fun times, comraderie and lessons I learned in TLC/MTCU. Thank you Scot.

Respect to "Doom Cannon" my Autocannon MWD Armor Buffer Thrasher which to this day is my favorite solo ship. I flew it regularly throughout my entire EVE career and it is one of the few legacy hulls that remains viable in the current meta of small ship PVP. Many foes have engaged it and a majority of them have died as their ships melted around them in an inferno of overheated autocannon DPS.

Respect to "Draconis" my beautiful blood smeared Faction fit Bhaalgorn which simply can not be killed. It is a magnificent work of art truly deserving of the High Grade Slave and +6 hardwire pod that commands it. It has never flown in a fleet that wasn't outnumbered. It's linked 600k+ ehp has been tested numerous times because it has been primaried at some point in every fight it has been in. It has withstood Naglfars while slowly burning out of bubbles. It has led the charge as I solo triple-boxed defense against invading POS bashing Russian battleships in WH space. It has gone Bhaals deep against most of low sec when I flew as neut commander for RVB 150. During 150 it was primaried by close to 100 T3s and its triple 1600mm T2 plates, triple T2 trimarks and overheated x-type hardeners kept it just a tick above strucure while guardians and triage archons furiously landed reps. It's full rack of bonused faction heavy neuts are the embodiment of hardcore capacitor warfare and they have wrecked countless capacitors along the way. It is worth more than 3 average carriers, it's gorgeous, deadly and it's the only ship I have never lost. It's the flagship of my personal fleet and a true heavy combat beast.

Respect to my fellow true PVP pilots. There aren't many of us left in the increasingly risk averse meta of EVE PVP. We are the pilots who can solo without links or drugs and maintain a winning record. We see the perfect solo kill as one where we get the pod too. We will grind 30 low sec jumps to find a fight rather than sit in a gate camp. We can't stand to PVE. We hate structure bashing. We are always negative sec status. We can PVP successfully in any ship we fly, in any space, in any fleet, at any time. We PVP for the adrenaline rush and even though we don't care about numbers on KBs we still kill more than twice as many ships and over 5 times as much ISK than we lose. We never pay ransoms, never shed tearz, always take the tough fights and would rather die next to our wingman bc warping out isn't how we are wired. Our ships are dead the moment we buy them and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Respect to my bros from Spectre fleet who have "X" up for my fleets. I enjoyed flying with you all. Thank you for trusting me as your FC to lead you into combat and for putting up with my sporadic chat trolling between fleets. As a Spectre FC my winning record is due in large part to you guys executing well in combat. To all of you thank you. May you "F1" and gun forever!!! It was a pleasure being your FC! To Apex who recruited me as an FC and the rest of the leadership in Spectre thank you for providing the content platform. It is a great addition to EVE. Good luck in the future.

Respect to the EVE community in general. Respect to noobs, bitter vets, ganks, blobs, mercs, pirates, station gamers, scammers, mains, alts, miners, traders, smack talk, NPSI, tearz and everything else that is EVE. I wish you all many hours of fun times playing the best game ever made.

So, at the end of an era, this outlaw rests his guns. A red sun slides out of view as the streaks of a warp tunnel engulf me. What the future holds no one knows for sure... But in this ship sat a bad man... A very, very bad man. ARMED1 out.

It's always sad to see people leave, especially those who play in the dignified manner the OP does. I can't speak for him of course but I wonder if just boredom and the will to log in has just gone. I know it has for me at the moment.

I'm curious to where he goes next.

What's that burning smell?!

Thank you for your message and thank you for the best of good times my friend.

Fighting by your side, no matter what the odds, was always such a blast.

Good luck on the other side.

Stay dangerous.

Losing an FC and a dedicated and talented pvp player is always hard but i hope you'll be back at some point.

Anyway, it's the best farewell message i've read in months. If you're not gonna come back for the game, at least write a novel about spaceships Roll

Cheers from Planet 3 Pirate
