Totally agree that respect is earned and also agree that you should own up to you actions - so I will try and earn respect with my posts and not post like an idiot (I guess one leads to the other anyway). I've never been one to troll/flame/harass on forums whether anonymous or not.

Unfortunately your GTFO comments continue to show why posting on an alt is preferable - there are some vicious people on this forum and some of us just don't want to harassment or bullying that can come from posting something that is not uniformly liked.

It amuses me that it bothers you guys so much that day after day you launch attack after attack - but until CCP change the rules I will continue to show that your unenforceable "laws" are exactly that.....unenforceable.

What you say is true. They can't enforce you to use your main while posting. You are free to do so, just as they are free to ignore any of the posts you make with your alt.

You seem to be taking the summary of our statements and replacing the main ideas with "we will ignore you". Please, if you will, allow me to set it straight.

1) You wont receive any help from us. Any questions that an alt posts are subject to trolling, straight out disinformation, scams,
etc.

2) We have been attempting to foster a sort of community here, ranging from tournament style fights, NPSI roams, and coming soon a C&P WH eviction. Be anonymous all you like, but no forum alts are included in the content we provide. Dont care? Thats fine too. In EVE, content is the real currency.

Here is what I am confused about:

You claim to not post with your main because we are "bullies"... but you agree with the majority of the sentiments of this forum. That points down the path of someone who is just trolling to troll.

Nofear, the reason why we wish to communicate with mains rather than alts is a matter of respect. In C&P we have all sorts of miscreants, pirates, mercenaries and other forms of nogoodniks who are gathered together to share their views and opinions on various matters. Unlike many other portions of the forums in this place the meta aspects of the game actually do extend beyond the eve.exe file.

What is said or done around here can have profound consequences within the game as wars, ganks, awoxes and scams arise as a result of the actions or words of the one. Respect in this area is a precious commodity not unlike trust is within the game. It has to be cultivated and hoarded and defended to be maintained. The Thunderdome thread is a fine example of this if you are in doubt.

Now here's the tricky thing, affiliations change. The tides of war ebb and flow. You mention cronyism, and I understand that, but the thing is it is an illusion. What you've been seeing is like minded folks who happen to agree with each other. This does not mean that they are not hostile within the game. Just last month the alliance that Noragen was in was at war with my own. Currently my alliance is at war with the corporation that Valkin is in, and I'm sure he's currently running locators to find out where I am, as I am doing the same. This means that if we happen to meet there will be bloodshed. It wont be because we hate each other, it wont be because we disagree on this or that... it's because we're at war.

Wars can be and are started here. They get finished in the game. By saying what you have to say with the face of the character that actually has something to lose you can cultivate respect from others. It shows that you're willing to put your money where your mouth is, and people around here can understand that kind of thinking. You generate empathy to some degree that way.

Saying that you're an alt and proud of it is kind of the opposite approach to the situation. You kind of are shouting to the world that you fear the consequences of your opinion in this matter, where if it was truly important to you you'd be proud to stand up with your main and say what you have to say.

Oh, and PS: Yes, I shoot MTU's. I do it to get bears to shoot at me. I do it so I can get fights like...

Were you to be posting with your main I'd be having a look at your board as well, and were it half as awesome as you seem to be trying portray yourself you'd likely cultivate some of that respect from me.

I remember that orthrus, fecker was a sketchy, nervous bear( 1bill+ for the hull at the time so I'm not entirely surprised)
