How does he not know that people consider him terrible? How has he managed to make as many films as he has without everyone avoiding him like he is a leper?

I love how he claims that kickstarter approached him. Why would they? He doesn't even know who talks to him.

IIRC he gets most of his funding from a German grant, or he used to. iirc hes from Germany. I saw one of his movies.. nearly walked out, it was horrible. blood Rayne.. worst movie ever

He knows ... and makes profit from this image. In Germany we have a TV channel dedicated to bad movies which has solid ratings.

They're not ALL rotten. I personally rather enjoyed 'Postal: The Movie'.
Don't ask me for a second title, because i got nothing here.

Generally, if you see a movie and if Uwe Boll says it's bad in the introduction, it might behoove you to take heed to that.

Don't know his works, but I kind of appreciate that "FU Hollywood," incinerate all of the bridges statement, with the cursing. I suppose he defined his stance and his future potentials right there. DIY, something else, or nothing, I suppose, eh? Punk Plato, in a way.

Can confirm that postal broke the home run of ****, but that remains as the only watchable movie from him.

Yeah, the whole thing was a tax loophole: Uwe Boll made terrible movies on purpose so his investors could write off their money and save a lot of taxes- pretty much like in the movie "The Producers".
This legal loophole has been closed recently, so it remains to be seen how this affects his movies.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I don't think so. There's no way he made more money by making **** movies than he could have made by making good movies. More likely that's a Boll-fabricated story to cover up his bullshit.

As far as I know what really happened is: There's a fund for movie producers in Germany. And he got money out of that for some reason that I don't know, and he got called a fraud for not spending that money on German actors and German staff. So they fixed that lately.

So uh no he's really that ****. I think.
