OLD Duality Playtest Thread

Hey everyone. Getting Duality running with the new hardware is taking some time, and it's now clear that we won't be able to open the server this weekend.
Currently our best estimate is that we may be able to open the server for people to start getting themselves in sometime during the day tomorrow, and then start the competition Tuesday or Wednesday.

That said this is probably going to turn into a festival of logistics, strategy, unintended consequences, bugs and the like.

If we are going to be playing as if ship value is meaningless as on sisi then sp will likely also become a deciding factor, another fun element is that the involved alliances might become somewhat divided in attention between attempting to rule over duality and protecting assets on tq during the game's timeframe.

Forums get messy and who knows where the right place to post is...so here goes since this is where you're working stuff out.

Seems CCP would have to address the Cloaky Camper meta prior to FozzieSov roll out given that the whole system is based on Indexes.

Q. The once mentioned possibly fabled Anti-cloak Module release?


If there's a better, proper place for this question I look forward to the redirect.

Hi CCP Fozzie,

From what I heard, the mirror is from the 5th on Duality. Instead of trying to incorporate characters created in time meantime and all that, why not give 1m unallocated sp to everyone on Duality and be done with it? Big smile
