Really, if one is going to leave, then just leave without the silly drama.

Even if giving reasons for leaving, no need to act like a child about it.

Wait...what were you expecting? It is a game. Entertainment. That is all. EvE is not responsible for your life.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

For a second I thought you meant,

"save loads in order to.... get out and see the world"

but I realise you actually meant

"save loads and see the world.....of online gaming."

I do mean see the world.
I have lived in three nations and ten cities thus far.
I can be packed up to get on a plane within two hours.

it's amazing how there's still people out there who don't understand why MMO's are switching to the f2p model... Straight

its because they suck, so when they switch to F2P fan bois tend to fork out more money then subs would make, so the crappy games stay a float as oppose to die a death they should of. =D

Unless they are desined to be F2P from the start, ala Guild Wars.

Unfortunately GW2 is NOT free to play. You pay once for the game and then get to play, after that yopu pay for all the bigger expansions and last I checked for eome vanity items.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

Now's a good time to get a double guitar and learn to play it cross-arm!

I've met people in that game who claim they have spent over $5k just in a year or two of playing, and I don't doubt it.

It's not just vanity items, definitely not. Buy gems, buy junk out of their game store, sell on the TP to other players. Use that gold to buy components to make weapons and armor sets that can take over a year to grind out for just one character. Yes, fully p2w now. Then there is gambling, by buying gems to unlock black lion chests that have a slim chance to drop valuable rare junk.

They have done everything they promised they wouldn't do before the game launched (I played gw1), and most people left the game as a result. It's actually a pretty freaking dead game now, gw2. They finally started working on an expansion, but likely it's too late, hard to just go back to original promises and get players back again after breaking all those promises.

And like I mentioned, wvw maybe (if you were able to get on an open active wvw server which you cant now after server transferes). But forget pve, unless you are just looking to do quick and very easy content so you can get back to WoW asap. After all the WoW kitten hoards cried for easy content and anet listened with glee in hopes for huge item shop loots. Launch was nice, modestly challenging content, but all since revamped to very very very easy. /rant

I'm in it for the money
