Who's Loaded Dice?

zkillboard says Loaded Dice (at 136 members) for the month of June they have about ~60 some kills and ~60 some losses. Hoplite Brigade (at 151 members) has ~600 some kills and ~700 some losses. MCF1B (at 83 members) has ~900 some kills and ~150 losses. It doesn't seem like Loaded Dice actually play by comparison to two of the bigger entities in the Min/Amarr FW zone.

I mean congrats for taking another system. But considering it is claimed to be the fortress system of a group that has a tenth of the kills and losses of other FW entities in this thread, it feels like you staked a claim in an empty house at downtime when everyone in other houses was asleep.

Good job?

Before someone reports me, I am not "posting of links to kill reports from any third party site, or the direct copy-pasting of kill reports from in game". My post is not a violation of the rules. No need to purge me like other people in this thread have been purged.

It was empty but the fighting woke them up :)

Frankly I'm claiming a strategic win in that the system was being dedicatedly contested by virtually all the Amarr Militia entities active today. The distance from our normal staging zones made life hard whilst it was in very close proximity to Amarr staging systems turning the whole affair into a defacto siege.

The length of time that it had been in Amarr Militias hands is an indication of how tricky it can be for us to assault deep within Amarr territory. The only system that looks similar in the Gal/Cal WZ is for the Caldari to capture would be Hallanen (600ish days occupied and in a region of Gal mil strength) but then I don't know much about that side of things.

If the Amarr mil want to let them do the 'Didn't want that system anyway' posts.

We had a couple of skirmishes on stations/gates with various folks a few hours before the system flipped. We totally stomped a larger minnie fleet on the undock of their staging station in Anka, trading two ships for most of theirs, and had some neat fights with neutral fleets before and after that.

Unfortunately, no-one felt like staying up till 4AM, and the system was eventually flipped while we were asleep. gfs all round though.

I think a few of our pilots captured the main fight on video. I got some fights for the system a few days beforehand, but nothing that day, as nVidia updates decided to switch Shadowplay off. Will see what I can get onto Youtube in the next couple of days.

In fairness, we live 10 jumps away through some of the busiest parts of the warzone. That's why we only managed to stop you bashing the hub 5 times. Blink

Only 5 times? Ha! We made 15 attempts on the Hub so...oh wait, this line of argument does not make us look better... Shocked

10 jumps doesn't matter because all the pirates are scared of you anyway!

Hold a minute here.. isn't the usual story that we're blue to all the pirates.

Confirming we have been in aggressive negotiations with UK, HPLT, and TGoDS. Come on blue donut 2015 ;)

In all seriousness gf that fight in Anka was amazing my cynabal got low armor and I didn't think reps were gonna hold but in the end they did.

Loaded Dice seems to have left the warzone in favor of joining the pirate alliance Asylum. I wish our new neighbors good luck, sometimes the editing room can be a bit noisy.

Its sad when 10 jumps is a long distance, when I was in militia that wasn't even considered a day trip; my have the times have changed.

It has been a good weekend for both militias all around, we've both got some very good fights and it's nice to see bodies like Hoplite, Ghosts and U'K out in force again.

Loaded dice are a shadow of what they were. Only a few of their member base are active as their kill board shows and from what I understand those who are still playing live in huola now days not tannakan. So counting tannakan as a fortress system is false.

Only system that warrants that tag presently is las due to PYREs presence. The kam-kourm-auga cluster is fairly strong but not worthy of fortress as of yet.

Minmatar may be losing many individual fights vs the Amarr but they have the active pilots to come back again and again until their goal is achieved. winning the battle does not mean you win the war. There is little stomach on the amarr side to commit to plexing fleets to push the warzone back currently mainly due to a lack of willing FCs for militia fleets.

all credit the minmatar FCs for having such high activity in their push for warzone control. We shall see in the coming weeks and months if you can go the distance and what the amarr can do in response.

I hope to see you active near kamela again soon :)

I would have put Sahtogas on the list as well surely? NEOs, OMG and Flex Point hold that system?

Frankly my only concern is that the farmers abandon ship before we can have as much fun as we can.

Farmers will stay as long as t3-5 is held. Amarr went from 4800+ to 3900+ in a few weeks after hitting t1.

I don't think all of NEOS and Old man lives in Sahtogas just some of there pilots, although flexpoint do but they are neutral russians who are friendly to NEOS and OMG.

Perhaps I suppose it should be put in a similar bracket with kam/kourm/auga cluster. It would be awkward to take but that all depends on the attacking force and there level of organisation.

Farmers wont "abandon" ship until your at T2. The more immediate effect will be that as the number of systems for them to O plex reduces as you bash them more of them will move over the the Cal/gal warzone. And of course the mission running farmers.

Also quite how you attribute the farmers to any level of fun baffles me completely. Fun, in my opinion, comes from fights between 2 fleets who both have a reasonable chance of success and thus stay on field for a decent amount of time.

The farmers keep our chances of outright victory alive by freeing up as many of the 'real' Mini Militia as possible for offensive operations instead of us d-plexing.

The more of our pilots we have available for offensive ops the more likely we will be to bottle Amarr militia up into their main bases and that they will undock and fight in force to defend their homes etc

Therefore - fun for both sides.
