Launcher won't start, repair tool doesn't work

Trying to start the launcher yields this...

Traceback (most recent call last):

And many more lines, with the options "Ok" and "Start EVE". Trying to start eve gives me a message that...

"Your EVE client installation may have modified, damaged or corrupt files. Please run repair.exe located in the EVE game directory or re-install the game client. Verification failed: "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\code.ccp', crc:f33e946, expected:1d764fd6.

Trying to run the repair tool gives me...

"Errors occurred See the logfile 'C:\Users\.....\nsbE802.tmp\repair.exe.log' for details"

Which contains...

No idea what to do. If I uninstall and reinstall I'll have to redo all my settings, won't I?
