Cannot Change Shared Cache Location

For some reason this shared cache took it upon itself to install on my C:\ drive.
I have all of my eve stuff on another drive to keep my primary drive (SSD) boot only. The setting to change the folder will not save!!
Any tips? Thanks.

You can change the shared cache location under the 'Download' section in the launcher settings.

In case that doesn't work as it should, you can try editing the location of the shared cache folder in the registry.

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CCP\EVEONLINE\CACHEFOLDER

To open the registry editor, open up your start menu and search for Run (alternatively, the Win+R key combination). Once prompted, type "regedit" and hit enter. In the registry editor, navigate to the CACHEFOLDER key. You should be able to right-click and modify it.

Be careful though when modifying keys in the registry, many sensitive system settings are stored there as well.
