CCP, how is Thera doing?

It is now six months since the Rhea expansion on December 9th 2014 and the start of Thera.

I really like living in Thera and I can not image myself staging from another system. PvP is good, it has settled down a bit compared to the chaotic first weeks. Station games yes, but not that many. Trade is ok, comparable to an avarage nullsec system I guess. There is plenty of movement, pilots found it to be an excellent transit system (thanks to the excellent work of Eve-scout). Some corps and NPSI groups have settled into the system nicely. To me it's a system like no other and I like how it has developed.

Now I wonder how CCP looks at Thera, since it has been out there for half a year.

Do you consider Thera a succes? Has is developed the way you expected? If not, why not? Any unexpected developments? What could be better? Any similar plans for the future maybe?

And could you feed us Thera pilots some stats on the last couple of months?

We used it to facilitate roams further afield a few times when it first appeared. Haven't been back since.

We keep an eye on the connections via eve-scout and if there is one close and an exit into a good pvp region, we'll use it as a way to move large distances on the map quickly.

Eve-scout gives it a great advantage over scanning other wormholes down.

Then again, unless you live/visit in null, its also completely pointless, same for low or highsec ...

Thera is the residence of my primary PvP clone, perfect staging and quick transit system (with eve-scout). The market is underdeveloped but usually one of the major trade hubs is only a couple of jumps away.

I'm my own NPC alt.

I was actually there last night. I was just doing some wormhole exploring and found it. Saw some station games. Seeing who was docked seems counter productive to the idea of Thera. All the holes being so publicly available feels weird too. Groups that come in are only there to us it as a shortcut and nothing more. Would be cool if a sizable alliance decided to base from Thera. I couldn't find the vertical ice field though. I'm still exploring there. I love the massive size of the system.

Thera is the dogs bollox for those of us who play at the arse-end of the server (DT +/- 4) & like our PvP.
