I would like a feature added that whenever you trade a character you can also pay an additional plex in tranfer fee and be able to change the toons name.

Some toons even though that have great skills and good standings aren't even desirable to own because there so terribly named. We have the option to fix facial features and pretty much everything else. However, the name is one thing that is currently unchangeable.

I think it would be great if this is added to character transfers. It would also provide a means for CCP to generate more revenue and get more plex out of the market.

I am sure that toons have a Unique ID attached to the character beyond just tracking them sololy via their name. It shouldn't be too hard to make this change.

I think that the additional plex cost and only being allowed during character transfers would keep this from being abused and people just changing names numerous times just because they want too.

If you don't like the name, don't buy the character.

If you want to know why it's a bad idea, simply go to F&I and search that forum. This has been discussed to death, beaten into a pulpy mush, resurrected as a vaguely horse shaped mass, discussed to death again, burnt, and had its ashed trampled into the ground.
