So my alliance just moved to blood raider space, was just wondering if I can do up to 9/10's in blood raider plexes with a raven.

Blood Raiders do primarily EM, with Therm secondary. Essentially, you're going to be eating the worst damage types for you. This means you'll likely have to sacrifice deeps (target painters) for additional hardeners/amplifiers. A Raven (and its crap base resists) is not the best choice for Blood Raiders.

I'm not saying you can't do it. You most certainly can. It just won't be optimal.

it's not really bad choice. Put 2 EM and 1 thermal hardeners, warp at 100 and they shouldn't really hit you, put sentries out and shoot approaching frigs with them.

PS. i didn't do any 9/10 or 10/10 anoms in blood raiders space, but i know they have crappy range with lasers and sniping is the way to go

PS: ups, just realized it's about plexes and not anoms ;/

dunno if you can solo a 9/10 in a raven, most people drop carriers in to kill the tower in last room

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

That's the key. In an anom, there's not all that many rats on the grid at any one time - unless you blow a few triggers and get 3 waves. In a DED site, you could be talking about 30 rats on you at once. The raven is not going to be able to handle that.

I'm not, nor have I ever been, in Blood Raider or Sansha space. But, as I understand it, people use the Nightmare (or other armour-tanked BS ass-kicker). For 9/10 or 10/10, I hear people use Carriers.

Most people use marauders for 10/10 (vargur is best suited to blood 10/10) and carriers for 9/10 because no gate on final room

amount of rats is not a problem if they don't have the range to hit you. you can have raven with 250km cruises taking down last station in 10/10, problem is there are better ships to do it.
