Stressful morning at work and getting pissed at some office people didn't help.

I'm doing fine so far. Slight chest discomfort/pain but nothing huge. Food sucks of course but I've got some mates coming by later with some goodies they are going to sneak up to me.

No EVE didn't do it. Actually Eve is how I relaxe at night, chat up some friends.

I've got wires and tubes all over me so I think I resemble a capsuleer with all the connections.

I've got my iPad so I can browse the forums and watch Netflix and YouTube

Stress is our worst enemy. I am also working at office and I completely understand the risks about my health. In fact, I am at the office right now, relaxing in the EVE forums.

Also, I've been hospitalized 2 years ago, so I know how much the food sucks there. I remember it quite well, because it was Christmas...Good think I had food smugglers to keep my appetite.

Glad to hear you are OK.

Actually tension and stress strengthens muscles and some times that extra stress conditioning in a persons life is what helps them survive a minor heart attack.

Ha, my 65 year old uncle was in ER after a mild stroke and ended up getting a angioplasty later, but while he was getting his bedbath by an old nurse, with the young pretty nurse watching, the old dog, in half comma, kept trying to woo the pretty one. What a perv lol

Perv? I hope you jest right, that's called human nature.

So, where are you staying? If it's not to far out, I will come and set up a gatecamp near the elevator.

Well here I am in the hospital ER.

Looks like a possible mild heart attack according the my enzyme levels.

Now I'm bored so I thought I would post a thread and see what kind shenanigans you guys are up to.

Let's hear all the details. Are you stealing corp assets ? Or are you out giving pirates a good name ?

And I scoffed all morning about a broken nail...

Get well soon OP !

Glad you're on the mend OP. Bonus points for posting from ER.

How do enzymes indicate a heart attack has occurred? Makes me wonder.

Creatine kinase is an enzyme that helps balance energy stores in muscles that use up energy quickly (like the heart). It is a good indicator of stress in those muscles.

Well I've been very active my whole life. I grew up on a cattle ranch and was working as soon as I could hold a shovel. I hike, used to rock climb and whitewater kayak. I used to climb and build communications towers for a living. I also grew up with a dad who is diabetic and both parents are health nuts. So I've eaten very very healthy my whole life.

I was talking to my doc this morning and he was telling me that even athletes can have heart attacks. Sometimes these things can happen and it can happen to anyone. But the healthier you are the better your chances are for surviving a heart attack and recouping from it.

Like I had mine yesterday afternoon and I'm being sent home today. With strict instruction to take it very easy of course. And now I have a medicine regimen I'll have to adhere to

This is EVE. How can we be sure the OP isn't playing a sympathy con-game?

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.
