Well here I am in the hospital ER.

Looks like a possible mild heart attack according the my enzyme levels.

Now I'm bored so I thought I would post a thread and see what kind shenanigans you guys are up to.

Let's hear all the details. Are you stealing corp assets ? Or are you out giving pirates a good name ?

Second, why are you so sure it were EvE that caused it?

Stressful morning at work and getting pissed at some office people didn't help.

I'm doing fine so far. Slight chest discomfort/pain but nothing huge. Food sucks of course but I've got some mates coming by later with some goodies they are going to sneak up to me.

No EVE didn't do it. Actually Eve is how I relaxe at night, chat up some friends.

I've got wires and tubes all over me so I think I resemble a capsuleer with all the connections.

I've got my iPad so I can browse the forums and watch Netflix and YouTube

Just been watching some old eve vids because someone linked the old Conkordokken vid in another thread. Some more worth a look here (calming music), here (sing along), havent watched these ones yet. This one has a very angry person and calm music, watch at your discretion.

If you're bored, ask the nurses (timing is everything)
'So... when do I get my bedbath?'
'What drugs can I have? No, not for pain, give me the good ones'
'Can I get a psych evaluation for my vistors please'
If the doctor looks young, ask them if they are on work experience

I will try sacrifice a virgin goon or miner, or maybe a corpie for your recovery. Good luck P

Stress is our worst enemy. I am also working at office and I completely understand the risks about my health. In fact, I am at the office right now, relaxing in the EVE forums.

Also, I've been hospitalized 2 years ago, so I know how much the food sucks there. I remember it quite well, because it was Christmas...Good think I had food smugglers to keep my appetite.

Ha, my 65 year old uncle was in ER after a mild stroke and ended up getting a angioplasty later, but while he was getting his bedbath by an old nurse, with the young pretty nurse watching, the old dog, in half comma, kept trying to woo the pretty one. What a perv lol

Thanks for all the replies.

Just found out I'll be staying in the hospital for a while. They have all sorts of drugs running into me so the chest pain is barely noticeable and only then if I'm thinking about it.

The mates brought me some banana pudding and some magazines.

The good part is I'm under orders to relaxe and keep my heart rate down so I'm gonna be one chilled out dude.

So no Eve for me for a little while, at least until I get home. I'm sure I'll be on bed rest for the foreseeable future.

Anyway, nap time for now. I'll check back in later. Thanks again guys

Hey guys, just a little update.

Good news is that apparently I've only suffered a slight heart attack. So slight in fact the doc says it almost doesn't qualify. But a heart attack is still nothing to scoff at.

From what my doc says, since I was in such good shape initially the attack was nowhere near as bad as it could have been. My resting heart rate is around 41 bpm. Blood pressure is in the mid normal range. EKG looks bang on normal. Doc says my recovery time shouldn't be too bad.

Now it's just a matter of finding the cause and how to prevent it. Surprisingly enough you can have a heart attack while being pretty healthy. While I'm not at the pinicle of health, I'm very active and eat really good.

Anyway thanks everyone for the posts and the funny vids, I'll be seeing you guys in space soon :)

I hope they move you somewhere quieter. It is good you have your humor about you, even after something major happening to you. Please get better and come back to EVE to put your eyepatch back on as soon as possible.
