Wow, well this thread descended into farce pretty quick.

The Facilities exist, as confirmed, and are abhorrent. Regardless if Kim fabricated the footage or not (and if it turns out she did, well that's shameful in its own way), all you Federals admitted they're there. Perhaps rather then jumping on the hate bandwagon, you should do something about it since lots of you seem to agree it's a disgrace they exist and how they operate.

As for the comments on Caldari facilities/agression/war crimes etc, petition CONCORD, all sides need to be investigated where necissary, but don't paint out this issue. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I do agree however that unplanned, cavalier rescue attempts should be avoided, as it's likely to result in more loss of life for both sides rather then actually resolve the issue.

Outside of this, I think this thread is pretty much done.

"Doing something about it" is easier said than done. They exist primarily in State sovereign space, so any military operation to try and rescue the imprisoned or destroy the facilities has been, and will rightfully continue to be, seen as offensive military action within State sovereign territory. As many of these also seem to exist within high security systems, it becomes a logistical nightmare to accomplish much of anything publicly.

Having served in the infantry, I believe it to be more effective to fight in a forward prone position both to reduce one's own target profile and provide an stable platform for personal weapons systems.

to be honest, it's quite amusing.

For any who aren't aware, my callsign, strange as it is, is a play on the pronunciation of the term 'I am a rock'.
I chose this as my callsign because, prior to becoming a capsuleer, I spent a few lifetimes working as a teacher and researcher, specialising in astrogeology and geophysics.
amongst my peers, i bore the nickname 'rocks' for obvious reasons.

So, Ms Kim here's attempt to use my callsign as an insult, in essence, is her saying 'this educated geophysicist is dumb because i disagree with him'

Hence my amusement.
