Gumball 3000 - Stockholm To Las Vegas (2015)

Hello.

I know there are alot of car lovers here in the EVE community. And i'm pretty sure most of you knows what Gumball 3000 is, right?

As Gumball 3000 is pretty known over the whole world today, i don't think i need to give an introduction to what it is. But if you want to see how it was in 2014, then you can see a video of it here.

Anyways. I was lucky to be able to take a trip down to Oslo (from Tromsø where i live) to watch Gumball 3000 at Aker Brygge in Oslo as they was going from Stockholm and then to the Oslo 24th of may 2015 and then to the rest of the places they are visiting from the 25th of May 2015. They are going all the way from Stockholm to Las Vegas this year.

I managed to take around 60 pictures and over 1 hour of video from the event. The videos is even in 4k resolution. The pictures are uploaded to the new 'Google Photos' service (was launched 28.05.2015) on my Google account there and you can see all of the awesome super cars that did visit Oslo here.

I was really lucky to meet Shmee150 (Tim Burton) and greet him with a handshake and lucky to get a selfie with Shmee150 as you can see in my 'Google Photos' link over. Here is Shmee150 if you want to follow him on YouTube.

Here is the 1 hour long video from the Gumball 3000 event in Oslo on YouTube. And remember to see the video in either 4k or 1080p resolution.

The video is now rendering. It's 59 minutes and 38 seconds long. The video is being encoded at 50 Mbps in bitrate and it's going to take around 21 GB. But the video is going to be uploaded to YouTube anyways.

I believe the video will be up on YouTube somewhere tomorrow, so stay tuned.

What do you mean by 'been clamped down on' ?

The video have now been rendering for 2 hours and it's 62% done. Man, this computer is fast at rendering via the CUDA-cores. Rendering a 4k video that is 1 hour long is normally a huge process. So my new computer is powerfull Blink.

Edit: The encoding was started 17.48 EVE time and the encoding was completely done at 21.43 EVE time.

So now i'm just gonna upload the video to YouTube.

Edit 2: The video is now uploading to YouTube. ETA: Around 16.00 EVE time.

Edit 3: The video is now uploaded, so now it's just processing which i believe will take around a while.

I think maybe you should read about why it has been "clamped down on".

From what i know, they have been criticized quite alot for driving really dangerously some years ago, but except for that, i haven't heard any bigger issues with them now as they have fixed those issues lately and have been more strict on how they are going to drive while they are under the Gumball 3000 banner / flag.

If this isn't the thing you are talking about, then please enlight me.
