As I injected my last cap booster, I knew it was over. The most painful part about the video is seeing where I could of gone in for the kill early on in the fight, and I didn't.

I personally feel vindicated for breezing past my first two fights without firing a shot. If this had been anything short of a bloodbath, I would have been disappointed.

I had my last load of cap boosters in my ASB. I was really sweating bullets at the end there, even after you first hit structure and recovered.

That was great to watch. Very nice tank on the Sac, I shudder to think what would have been possible with a faction fit. Unfortunately those damn cap boosters take up a ton of cargo space...and once they're gone so are you.

Wondering what might have happened if you kept your augmented drones close and used them against his? Lost alot of DPS and projection when they went down. Was surprised to see no augmented drones off the Gila. Bronson should post his fit too.

The Gila is such a monster in a 1v1 scenario...I'm not sure it's beatable by another cruiser unless you are able to outrun or neutralize the drones somehow. So much gank and tank in a single hull, I'd like to see what some of the others here would do against it.

It never even occurred to me to use Augmented drones. Noted.

The thing with killing my drones is that I have tons of spares, whereas the Sacrilege only has a single flight. He would have had to kill a lot of my drones to shut me down, but I wasn't so handicapped.

Over the course of the fight, I actually realized something that another cruiser could do to effectively shut a Gila down. At one point I thought Badman had figured it out too, but fortunately he didn't.

As for my fit...if you want it, you've got to fight me for it. I shared it with Badman, but I hope he'll do me the courtesy of not sharing it. I will say that the Gila is hella tight on CPU for running an active tank which is the main reason I fit a target painter; not because I needed t, but because nothing else would fit.

I normally fly a gila with 3 DDA's; augmented hammerheads give me 672 drone damage vs 610 IIRC with hammerhead IIs.

So for PvP where killing gila-bonused drones is a hideously difficult task, augmented is well worthwhile. I think they also have superior speed and tracking over t2 drones...they're awesome as long as you don't lose any.

If you are interested in participating in the next tourney, send me a mail so that I can set up the brackets.

The next round will step up ship classes depending on what level bracket. (Cruisers for game 1, BC for semifinals, etc.) I will also set it up for double elimination, allowing for a losers bracket and wildcard slot.

I'm thinking 300m buy in, payable to the winner, minus whatever chribbas fee would be if he is willing to third party.

Also, thanks to those of you who pitched in and provided bonus isk to the winners.
