I am a 68 year old who joined Eve in 2012 playing in a very casual way due to business commitments. During this time I have played pretty much solo doing LV4 missions and SOE arc missions .

As the years have passed and I have accumulated over 57,000,000 skill points I have noticed I have no real direction ,I train for one thing then train for something else depending on my "what do I want to do this month attitude".

Last week I decided to max out my Kronos skills and with 1 day left for complete LV5 mastery I stop and switched my skills to mastering my Stratios because I thought I might enjoy Exploration .

I think you get the idea ,so having never left high sec ,never taken part in PVP and a little while back losing a ship while salvaging in a mission to a couple of pilots I believed I out gunned out droned and would blast their silly arses to kingdom come it struck home I needed help .

Now I know I will not fit every corp , at my age reaction times slow down, my eye sight is not what it was 30 years ago ,and after 48 years of wedded bliss I have learnt that talking into a Mic while my wife is watching TV is not a good idea ,and no I don't have a man cave . What I do have is maturity ,able to listen, follow orders (wait till you have been married 48 years and you will know what I mean ) .
I don't play on a laptop I have a very powerfully built set up so I don't crash and can keep up with the game ,what I would like to find is a understanding corp able to bring me along to see the vastness of EVE without being scared when a red blinking light appears in my overview which at this moment in time is when I leave all my drones, Mobile Tractor Units align and run for safety, I do feel very much alone out there lol.

I have downloaded TS3 though its workings are a complete mystery to me I do have a Mic with head phones and I am a good listener ,I have a good sense of humour and don't lose my temper if things go wrong .

So is there any Corp of mature laid back players who don't demand that I report for duty at such and such time (I own a public house so my times are erratic and dependant on staff , could give a Granddad a home teach me the finer points of EVE and a better road to travel along than the one I am on now please contact me .

If you read this thanks :)

Hi pal,

I run a small corporation based in null-sec provi, we are a NRDS (not red don't shoot) corp.

We have many friends in the area providing plenty of PvP action, mining ops whatever floats your boat. We have a ship replacement program in place as well as nice PvP rewards.

Like yourself my time is limited, I am self employed IT support guy, I also have a misses and 6 kids so they all take priority over eve (well maybe not the misses :P), so can appreciate it's not always possible to jump on comms chatting **** as i usually have kids in bed not long after I get home from work; thus we run no mandatory operations. We are not looking for sov, or even a second job POS fueling for a living.

If you're interested drop me a mail in game or i can usually be found in our public chat EVE-FLEET. This weekend is a bit hit and miss for me as the misses has shot off to Benidorm for a hen do and left me with the kids :p

Hello Nemmis

I would love to talk with you regarding joining Warriors Gaming Corporation. The corporation is about 2 month old based in Minmatar high sec space, however we do have regulard low sec roams and PVP does happen more often than not.
In addition, we do L4 missions, incursions and some WH.

I would like to invite you to check us out at this link

Please don't hesitate to message me with any questions or concerns.

Thank you

Hi Nemmis,

I think you'd fit in nicely with Venom. We're a small group of mature(and by mature I mean age, not sense of humour) players who have been in and around the Eve universe for many years. We're a no frills corps who's expectations of it members are based on being sociable.

Come in to "Venom-Bar" get a know a couple of the guys and see how you'll get on.

Good luck with your search.

P.S. is it a real ale pub?

You are not alone, sir.

We are in a selective recruitment process now aiming to gather a group the right size. Meaning not to small to be impotent nor too big the be impersonal.

So at this point I cannot grant we wont have to run from reds but we are working on diplomacy so an alliance can give us the intel that will prevent us to even do so. I think in a month we can do a lot of we work on recruitment.

I believe EvE is not a trade of reactions and reflexes only but also strategy and wits, so you may be as important for us as the agile kids eager to jump. Also having TS3 can provide good time of conversation and companionship. TS3 is also good cause it saves us from reading and typing when we are in space.

To be honest my post is as much as a petition as it is an offer both at the same time as if you need a group to support you, the group needs the members to even exist.

I hope you find the right people. Flight safe.

What did you say about CODE?

just wanted to take a moment to thank all the people that replied to my post ,It was a real eye opener to see the diverseness of EVE encapsulated in those posts ,and to each and everyone of you my heartfelt thanks .

It has certainly given me something to think about ,I thought it would be a easy matter to choose believing that a Corp would stand out and that would be one I would apply to join ,but sitting down and reading all of the emails, watching your well put together YouTube videos ,checking out Corps and reviews ,joining chat channels in game has led me to this conclusion I want to join all of you for different reasons as you are all a bunch of great people .

Hopefully I have a few days to decide as work commitments that I explained in my previous post takes up a lot of my time ,again from the bottom of my heart thank you for your kindness .
