eh... idk if I should tell you guys more about myself or not...

Guess if you ask, Ill share my credentials

but its not about me. Its about what I can do to help you.

Also, This is not a recruiting avenue for my alliance. You will never be asked to join me. Applications to my corp will have to go through the proper channels.

Im doing this outside of my corp.

I may start lurking in the channel, I'll help out if I can.

Yeah a little bit of context would help, I.e. what do you do in-game,what part of space do you operate in and have experience with, how long have you been playing ectect...

For anyone unsure if he actually knows anything you should search his name on https://zkillboard.com/

I don't think the OP needs to know anything about solo PvP to start a community of people looking to learn. I see absolutely nothing wrong with someone sharing their learning experiences with other's as he / she goes.

I applaud you OP on this effort and wish all the best. I'm sure if you can get this thing up and going that you'll not have too many problems getting vets to help out in what ever way. I'd be willing to throw some ships your way if you can get newbies to go out and loose them.

First off, I work, so you can find me in game from 22:00 to 2:00 on most days

I started the game in 2011 and started fleet pvp after completing basic survival training with the Elite Amarr Naval Academy.

I soon found being an f1 monkey to be boring, so I struck out on my own to do solo pvp in 2013.

I've since earned quite a few medals for my deeds and a super scairy title lol.

I've been hired before on a few occasions to be an amarrian pvp instructor.

Currently I am the president of the Black Rebel Rifter Club, a corp with some serious history in the solo pvp world.

If I where to rank my skills.

Amarr frigs - expert
Mimitar frigs - expert
Caldari frigs - good
Gal frigs - competent

Amarr cruisers - expert

Everything else is scetchy, but I learn more every day.

Currently I'm on a personal crusade to master the stabber.

I operate in the whole of faction warfare lowsec space (not that there is any other type of fw space)

Hope this helps. It's not as organized as I would like.

Google my name. Or.. Look at my profile lol!

Anyway, really isn't about me brohs

Oh don't take my questions the wrong way here, I wasn't looking to discredit or anything even remotely like that, just thought some additional context would help. Which it did Blink

Hopefully this will pick up

I took no offence :)

Your right, a brief history of what I've been doing was the right touch

Can't wait to get in game today

I was trying to do this in the help channel, but got in trouble because they thought I was trying to recruit. Lol my corp isn't so hard up that I have to trck people into joining. It sells itself.

Any ideas you guys have to get the word out there would be great

Also will be changing the chat room name today to make it not so "mine"

Also, if anyone knows of or has a solo pvp training corp out there, please list them here or mail me in game. If the newbies we attract want a new home, I'll point them your way.

R1fta, while open to new players, isn't much of a training corp. And it's unlikely that transitioning it into one would be healthy.

Vouching for Darth here. Ambitious pirate who climbed up from deck swabber to pirate royalty. If you're looking how to explode people (or the opposite: how to survive in lowsec) I'd suggest you go seek him out.

All the best!

For your videos, I strongly suggest a jingle based on 'My Sharona' by the Knack.

You know: du-dududada-du-da-du-da-dudu-da du-dududada-du-da DAAAAARTH TERONA!

Lol. If ye scruffy dogs are seeking out darth only to learn how to survive lowsec for care bearing, I wouldn't let him know.

Saw him gun down a man in cold blood in the belts of adirain fer that.

Then ran over his corpse repeatedly with his wolf and took pictures for the masses.

Just keep it to yourselves though and I'm sure you will be fine

project is taking off and doing well.

We had some great discussions tonight. Hope to see you guys again tomorrow.

To anyone not actually wanting to participate, should at least stop in the channel. Lots of good info just posted up in links ready for the taking.

Remember, I used to charge for this kind of thing.

Thing is, after getting an interview with a popular eve news site, I was asked a question. "what can ccp do to help solo pvp in eve?"

A question I went on asking myself for months. I never came up with a viable answer.

Last week I realized I was asking myself the wrong question.

"What can I do to help solo pvp in eve?"

I have many answers for that :)

Come on in. Enjoy the fun. Be free.

What kind fo a joke is this? Hired to be an Amarrian PvP Instructor? It sounds like autists teaching the daft here.

And a solo community already exists; the channel is Bringing Solo Back and there's alof of highly experienced pilots that hang out in there. They don't speak nearly as often as the autists but they give solid advice.

In addition Chessur started MicroGang Help so that he could become a self-titled expert :P I suggest joining that as well because the exact same skills translate into both solo and small gang.

Go watch Kovorix and Kil2's videos they give great walkthroughs, watrch EVE is Easy and Suitonia's videos as well for entry level information. But for the love of god above all else get a ship, use your brain and come up with a good fitting (or hell even steal a fitting from somebody who you know is competent) and get out there and lose ships. Go poke the hornets nest, split them up and start killing them. Record your fights, rewatch them afterwards and see what you could have done better, then go back out and do it all over again.
