Comet looks more like a combat ship now, I like how my Comet looks now.

As a 7+ veteran of EVE the only thing you can complain about in the new expancion is the font? If that is your only true concern among all the content I will have to say good job CCP.

And here I had the impression that the vets cared more about actuall gameplay than a font.

The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't.

Everythign looks great to me, space is awesome, all th eficxes make the game better, new ships are cool. Not overly keen on the font but hey.. I still love this patch.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

OP is probably overreacting but ultimately he got the point alright: this overhyped fluffy little patch won't stop people who lost interest from letting their subscriptions to expire, nor to motivate those who left to come back, and from that point of view Crucible looks like a fail.

Tbh only positive thing I see is hint that CCP really wants to re-focus to EVE and FiS... but it's going to be a long way.

while the font isnt all that pretty its a freaking great upgrade from what we had...i can read it on bigger monitors and now i can tell the o from zero (would be nice to have the slashed zero on the forums as well :P )

iv been browsing these Font hate threads for 30 minutes, great fun,. each time i get back to the forum index,. 3 more font hatin threads have been made.

i personally think the new font is refreshing, and those crying theyr eyes out over the changes are hillarius. ( like the op )

says hes been playing eve for 7 years,. and ragequits over a font ,. you must be joking.

i dont give a rats ass about how the font is ingame,. i use voice coms for most of my ingame communication.

anyway, not about me and my biz, its about CCP not learning from their many mistakes.


When you have your own biz than it shouldn't be a problem to get a PC where EVE runs great. To me your spinning drama looks like a gfx driver issue. However. I agree to the font and I am sure CCP will fix this because many players are not happy.

Overall you lack of empathy how to do critcs in the right and constructive way. I am playing EVE since 2006 and NEVER EVER saw a serious reason to unsub because killing **** works like expected and this MMORPG is actually the best out there (concept, idea, complexity, learning curve etc.). CCP had decided to take a huge risk by making it hard and complex this special way. What means: no million (WoW) flies just eating **** and paying for it. EVE is an exceptional masterpiece in gaming history.

nothing wrong with it at all.
this is typical eve douche bag material, they work hard to make it better, players cry how much they hate it. it very simple fix here. biomass and move on other then that your opinions dont matter.
