I noticed that ad.

There are many parts of the game that look good. Yet overall it just looks so bad that it makes bioware look like they cheaped out. Despite TOR being one of the most expensive games in history to make.

Delayed to hell and back and then this. Something went badly wrong in development in my opinion.

And EVE was never really threatened by TOR in the first place. STO going FTP is a far bigger competitor.

I hate to say it but the best part of TOR is actually the space combat. It is on rails but I find it very fun to play. I am getting good at laying waste to the frigs and once I get proton torpedoes I am sure ill be able to actually destroy them. Fun! They should have done 5x the amount of content on that!

I bet if EA had not gobbled up BioWare it would have turned out far better than it did.

Curse you EA the destroyer of game worlds.
They're almost worse than sony.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

Bio ware= love
EA = run for the hills

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

I played the beta for it, it was pretty lame. But then again EVE has spoiled me in the MMO dept. Nothing will ever live up to the greatness of EVE Online.

Ain't that the truth. Which sucks, because I love the Mass Effect series, and the third is looking like a likely candidate for "Origin" imprisonment. :/

SW-TOR was a threat to EVE as are all new games.

"I tried it, it Sucked" means you left EVE to try it. Eventually one will come along that grabs you.

Crucible "bring back the spark". Even CCP know EVE is getting old.

I love all the resentment against BioWare for it turning out so bad when it was more likely EA's fault.

Bioware = EA.

Get used to it.

Dragon Age 2 was your first warning, for which we should be thankful.

Hold back a minute..
DA 2 was exactly what the audience wanted... Sure nothing can compare to Baldurs Gate epicness .. but we get old, new generation dont want to spent 250hrs playing an game..

You mean like this one here. Fancy tricking us into believing that was real gameplay.

Sorry I couldn't resist. Just take them for what they are, a bit of eyecandy. Personally I've always enjoyed game trailers, it's a craft in itself.

Well to be honest I think the EVE trailer is closer to becoming reality than the SWTOR one, even if it could take another 10 years.

SWTOR is and will probably always remain a boring treadmill themepark with cartoony graphics.

Since DA2 Bioware is dead to me. Fooled me once, shame on me...

You sure about that?

The sales figures seem to disagree with you...
