Just wondering Seems rather strange to me since the epic arc that starts there CAN be redone every three months bye anyone

And since as CCP will say you cant know who is or isnt a rookie

Much has changed in eve since CCP first took the system arnon out of its sand box makeing it a safe haven for anyone doing the arc

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=120647

Above is the threed for back in 2012 Whan CCP first Started inforceing this change ( i put it like that becasue they INFORCE changes before telling anyone about them sometimes )

Feel free to read it over Smile

I fail to see the problem here.. unless you are whining that you cant bait can there anymore..

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Arnon was put on the list because some Eve players didn't understand what CCP meant by the statement 'Don't mess with the rookies' (I'm paraphrasing slightly).

So CCP felt they needed to add to the areas that our new players could play in without being taken advantaged off by more experienced players.

Yes, Eve is a cold, harsh game but lets give the new guys and gals a little space to get their feet wet before we all charge in and cut their legs off. (ingame of course).

First, you can do the Epic Arc every 3 months, not 6 :)

Second, it's a lvl1/2 Arc.. It's designed for newbro's, and when you complete the career agents you are, or at least were, directed there to start.

It's protected because before that, it was FULL of scammers, gankers, baiters, etc all trying to look for easy kills because they didn't have the balls or the skill to take on anyone more than a few days old.

Just leave people alone there, they'll do the same to you, and move along. There are many many other systems to fight in. having a dozen and change where you can't isn't the end of the world.

Don't mess with new players Thank you for bringing that up Smile

If the idea was to keep people from messing with new players and to give them room to grow before putting them into the big bad word that is eve online

Then clearly everytime some rookie falls for a isk dubbleing scam or get ganked for flying auto pilot CCP should be taken action aganced the players doing so

The fact is New players do have safe havens the systems newbes first spawn in and the system were new players do there first Career agents Are All ROOKIE systems

I fail to see any reason for haveing another rookie system sometimes 30 plus jumps away form were the player starts eve that needs to be a safe haven aswell

ESP one that has a lvl 3 agent in one of its station and A low sec connection

CCP is very Clear and the fact NO player is able to tell who is or isnt a Newbie

People returning to eve after years of time away Could fall under this rule

Easiest way to tell is the ship they are flying, If they are flying a T2 cruiser or above in the combat tree then they have been training for more than 30 days.

The differentiation comes in the fact that many returning players will have long npc corp histories. It would be nice if there was a corp like Doomheim where all of the inactive players would go after long term inactivity.

Well im am not allowed to post actual things CCP has said for fear of breaking the rules myslef

i can assure you that Anyone who says " IM A ROOKIE " will be protected under the rookie systems rules

if you belive you are one you are one .. no mater what ship your flying no mater what skill points you have

NO player can tell who is and isnt protected under the rookie systems rules

Why exactly do you want to be able to shoot people in these systems?

I think it's a newbie system because the epic arc is a newbie epic arc. Yeah it can be repeated, and also SoE has other agents in Arnon that people do missions for, but mostly it's newbies doing the epic arc, rather than veterans.

Also, perhaps a less arguable reason, cause CCP made it so. Who knows what their reasons are, besides the above.

OP has obviously progressed from killing MTUs and wants to try actual pilots now. Whats wrong with Simela? no-one playing your game anymore?

Oursulaert is good also.

so are Aunia, Auvergne and Eglennaert

though you will have the Red Barron arse of Eglennaert to contend with down there, (he gets territorial)
