Is salvaging worth it in a C3 without a salvaging alt?

I was doing C3 sites in the other day but I wanted to make sure if I'm missing out or anything or not. I don't have that much room left in my Gila.

Nah blitzing sites for bounties is much better isk then trying to salvage solo

TBH - given the value of Melted NanoRibbons (MNR) currently there's really not a lot of additional value that you're leaving on the field if you decide not to salvage.

It's RNG determined whether you get any of them and if so how many. Unless you're really sure you've got the system locked down then the extra time on field to savage the wrecks leaves you hanging out in the wind in a ship very likely far more valuable than the salvaged sleeper components from many sites.

Nah, sleepers give bounties, it just takes 24h so Concord can scan their way in and confirm you killed them. Don't even loot them, no point as the blue stuff is almost worthless.

The short answer is yes.

Bookmark the sites as you go, come back in a dedicated salvage ship later. Just be sure to do it before the wrecks de-spawn, and be careful of people that could be waiting for you to do so. Shocked

Obviously alot quicker and easier with a salvaging alt though.

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

personally i run for 1hr 30min and then go back over all the sites is did with the noctis. i think its worth it.

I pulled, on average, about 5mil out of the Fortification Frontier Strongholds, the one Anom I usually I run in c3s. For that isk/hr I wouldn't bother salvaging with an alt even if I had one that could.

The one relic site I ran last night paid out about 30mil in salvage, for, I'd guess, 15 minutes of work. 15% less isk/hr then, what I'd expect to, make clearing sites.

But really it depends on what your other options are.

Until they start allowing us to build more than a ship with the salvage, no it's not overly worth it.

Not worth it? If you're using a MTU during your runs it takes literally 1-2 minutes to salave everything one site. All you need is a cormorant with 8 salvagers, cap flux coils on meds, stabs on lows and proper rigs.
The loot is highly rng based but it's usually worth it (relic and data sites are great because they have the most wrecks) especially when you consider the fact you're risking a 7-8 mil ship in the process.
Even if you're rage farming you can salvage stuff while rolling your static.
